Why he's still on the team, I have no idea. Next up is Tampa Bay for a 4 game series followed by 3 games in Chicago to close out the first half. I'll be happy going 4 and 3 realistically, however I want a 5 and 2 record.

I want a 7-0 record

Congrats to David Ortiz, Manny Ramirez, Mark Loretta, and Jonathan Papelbon for making the All-Star team.

Although Schilling is probably pissed he didn't make the team, I'm glad he's not. We need him to pitch in games that matter.

Thank God for Timlin and Papelbon :whew:

Delcarmen has been pitching great, IMO. He seems to be settling in his role very nicely.

The back end of the pitching staff is shaping up prime for the 2nd half.

Where's Tarveras and Seanez??????????

When you throw Lopez in the mix for situational ptching and add the depth :cough: of Tavarez and Saenez, it really sets the stage for this team to go deep into the post season.

They cease to exist in my mind.

If this was the 1930s and in New York, they would be taken to Vegas and buried there..... come to think of it, doesn't sound like a bad idea.

In all seriousness, they shouldn't be on the roster after the All-Star game.

The Sox should make a run at Scott Williamson or Bob Howry of the Cubs.
