Defense looks solid...Oline is one of the best in NFL

RB are amazing....WR's are below average.......

Chad Henne will be solid

Im not ecstatic about starting two rookies on the left side, but hopefully it will work out fine. And hopefully we draft a good wide receiver

as i recall, the last time we started 2 rookies on the left side of our line it worked out well for us....Webb&Sims

I hope this isnt starting roster, I dont want to see Henne start from day 1. He is not ready yet and needs major improvement on mechanics and poise

I think BP knows somthing we dont... Either Keyshawn is coming back or were makin moves for Ocho ! cause we need WR help no doubt about it..

thats what it would be

We could only improve so much from one draft so, I'm very happy with the acquisitions thus far. You're right about the WR's and I'm afraid that may also cause problems for our injured backfield. I just can't believe that either Ronnie or Ricky will be ready to take on 30 carries by week 1.

Not one of the best offensive lines in the NFL, however it is one of the youngest most talented offensive lines in the NFL.

You have John Beck as the third Qb? Not so sure about that. Either way we can look forward to about a 4 win season with that roster. Couple years from now well get to where we want to be.

Agreed, we really missed out on Kevin Smith, we needed to address the Rb Issue that we have now, which is having two backs we're not too sure about.

The Oline is nothing yet guys, Murphy and Long havent even touched an NFL field yet. Murphy might not even start. Phil Merling might sit if JT is still here, and Porter is playing outside, not inside. Take the home shades off. Another 2 more drafts to go before the team is solid.

I agree, it will be a year for the rookies on the lines and (Beck or Henne) to develop. Sadly, a strong WR core would help a young QB develop more quickly and currently we lack that. I'm sure there will be a veteran WR who will become available that we can acquire this summer (there's never a shortage of receivers). I believe we will continue to struggle on offense through '08 but we are getting better. I just hope the young OLine doesn't leave our banged up backfield to the wolves. Our lack of line protection last year was the reason why we lost so many RB's to injury in the first place (Ricky excluded because he simply wasn't in NFL shape when he was hurt he was stepped on in the mud bowl which was a rather unusual play in an unusual game to say the least).

I'm not so worried about running back yet. Seems like they can be picked up relatively easy. I remember the talking heads at the draft mentioning that Oakland will have a glut of good running backs and will have to waive one with the addition of McFadden. And we get first pick off the waiver wire. That's just an example of what may happen down the road.
