the 3-4 formation

I think the dolphins will play 3-4 but not much, but I read in many press aricle that is a formation who will be use by many teams, falcons, steelers and patsie, do you know if other teams use 3-4 in base defense too ?

the ravens used to... Dallas are now switching to it, San Fran are switching to it this season. The Raiders use it. The Browns will probably be using it now that Crennel is the HC.

Yep, those are pretty much the teams I would have listed.. sucks for the Cowboys though losing Spears. OUCH!

The Raiders are going back to the 4-3 this season. Their DC is one of Buddy Ryan's sons, Rob, and they could go to the 46 defense, same as the Ravens will under his other son, Rex.

BTW, Spears prognosis is now that he'll miss up to 4 weeks max.
