OK, I've never been to a Dolphins home game but this sounds pretty cool.

The 400's club

The Dolphins are trying to give Dolphin Stadium's upper deck a personality.

They've dubbed the 34,500 seats "The 400" and are adding amenities for the 2006 season including: shade and cooling misters in areas called PolarZones; live music; a 400 Fins Force entertainment team; cheerleader and NFL alumni visits; more food choices; "The 400" branded apparel and merchandise; and special promotions and giveaways.

The enhanced 400 level was the result of fan research the team conducted as part of its effort to improve the fan experience, Dolphins Enterprises CEO Joe Bailey said. The improvements are just a part of the team's overall plans, which include the ongoing renovation of the stadium.

Has anyone been to a game and sat in the upper deck, how are those seats?

Prolly too rich for my blood anyway lol, I havnt been to dolphins staduim either

Ive been to every Dolphins vs Jets game since like '00 cuz my uncle got season tickets, Also been to a game vs Philly were the fins got wooped

But those seats alone prolly cost a G or more

From the sounds of it, the 400 is just their way to improve the cheap seats.. The Upper Level are the Nosebleed seats, which used to be just dreadful in the past.. I saw the woeful Ray Lucas Bowl vs the Bills from the Upper Deck. It was blazing hot and I couldnt see anything.. Now, if this is what I think it is, the Upper Deck wont be so bad, with cooling devices and the largest HD screens in the world to watch the action..

i had season tix in 414 last year but now im in 441. theyre not bad. the fans are a lil crazier up there and there some fights every now and then. its fun.

ok upper deck can be one of the worst places to sit...and also one of the best...

Here's the rules:
1. Only sit on the home side: The visitors side and south endzone get a lot of sun for the whole game and it's right in your face...stick to the Visitors side!
2. If you are getting really hot try and wear some material that wont absorb sweat..the most comon is underarmour..(yeah just like in the commercial) Wear it under a jersey or something and you will be feeling great!

3.No matter where you sit you will have a GIANT HD screen to look at...COMBINED with an HD banner that circles the entire bowl! Oh YEAH!!!

4. The 400 club is new...so none of us know anythign about it really...but it most likely will just make it a little nicer...i did like the fact that they will be having more people on staff this year... At the Ticket holder appreciation day i found most of them Rude, clueless ans basically just a waste of carbon...but that was just me!

Also as of now all home games but 1 will begin at 1 pm (except the JETS game which is at 8pm on x-mas) so it will be hot for most of the games... if your worried then try to hit one of the later games...also becasue of flex scheduling after week 12 some of the games may switch to 8pm or 4 pm so if you buy tickets and are coming out of town you will need to make plans just in case. If any games times are switched it will be done 12 days prior to the game so there will be some time...

For my money, the 400's are the best seats in the house. Why??.....

Being up high, you see the entire field from an elevated level. That allows you to see plays develope, holes open, WR's breaking deep, ect ect. That's just one cool aspect of being up high....

I'm also enjoy being on the visitors side of the 400's as well. It's so much fun being around the rival fans when they come to play against us down here. It makes the whole "home field advantage experience" come to life, and we have a blast up there battling back and forth with eachother. It gets rough at times, but we keep everything under control for the most part. What's football without alittle pushing and shoving right??....

Even though I have the money to buy season tickets down in the lower bowl{air-conditioned}, I wont do it. It's not because I'm cheap, it's because I love those seats up in the 400's. Not to mention over the last 10 years I've managed to make a few "life long Phinz friends" up there as well. Moving down just for comfort wouldn't be the same, and I'm afraid I'd regret it in the end....

PHINZ RULE!!!!!

upper level is awesome its crazy up there and theres not a bad view in the house. the only reason i sold out and upgraded to the lower level is just because i couldnt resist the lure of being closer to the field

OK. Timeout. Blazing, I'll agree. But for the most part everywhere it's balzing( unless you have club). It is S. FLA. To call them nosebleeds, ok, not exactly like you are on the field. But I have been going to games since they moved to the "JOE" (and welll before that) and I have sat everywhere...Upper, Lower, Club, Corners, Sidelines, Endzone...Etc. But to say you can't see anything. I sit in the upper endzone and wouldn't trade them for any seats. Maybe I'd move down a few rows, but thats it. I sat on the West endzone for my first 3 years with season tickets and moved to the East for the last 7(cheaper seats). You see everything happening. Plus the fans in the 400's are great (Real die hards). You're not dealing with the corporate BS fans who go to the game because someone gave them tickets from the office that sit in the lower level (not trying to offend the real fans downstairs, I know there are some down there). I'll invite you to come to a game and sit with me and we'll see if that changes your opinion. We rock it in 429.

Exactly. Good to see someone knows what they are talking about. I already replied to this, then found your post. 400's are great and they just got better. Blitz, we'll have to meet up at a game. Where you sit? I'm in 429.

Now you know from experience. This guy sat in front of me last year. Tellem how 429 rocks the house. You did sell out on me though. I'm willing to wager that you'll be back up there with me next year.

ill probably be back up there from time to time this year. the jets and bills games especially. nothing like getting the jets suck chant going a few hundred times during a game. ive always liked the view from the endzones, as mentioned before you can see every thing develop, just the lure of being closer man...

i need to find a way to keep body and face paint from melting off of me this year

Man it sounds awesome I can't wait to go to a Miami home game.

I lived in Tampa last year and I just found work right before the season started and I was playing catch up on bills and never seemed to have the money to get tickets.

I met a few Phin fans in Tampa and I saw a lot of Phins merchandise in stores, that was even cool because in Louisville, KY it's the Titans, Colts and Bengals who you see all the time on TV and merchandise.

Even getting to see all the Phin games on TV was awesome.

I thought about just tailgating and hanging in the parking lot for a game.

This year I am going to try and make either the Indy (1:30 min drive) game or the Chicago (4:30 min drive) game this year.

I must make a home game soon, I hope something happens and I could this year.

I've been to 6 games in Miami, all but one of them being in the 400s. Most of the time I have sat in the upper deck endzone, with one sideline experience.

This year I'm in Sect 422 vs Buffalo and will probably be upper deck vs Green Bay.

I love the seats. The view is great, the fans are cool. Sect 422 will allow me to see every angle on the field.

Now I did sit in Sec 127 vs Tennessee 2 years ago, and despite the loss, it was a great time as well. View was awesome!

Either way, I think the seats in lower/upper are just fine. I'd recommend to sit in the first 10 rows, thats all!
