The average Dolphin Fan's initial Reaction To Passing on Brady Quinn

I know that mine is that we are going to be set back for 7 years. By the time they figure out that Beck is not the answer ( feidler, Feely ) and pass on other top notch QB ala Spielman sticking with there own boy. We will no longer really have a chance to make it back for quite some time. With Quinn the coaching staff would have had a 3 year pass on all mistakes because we would have had hope.

When did Speilman pass on a top notch QB and stick with "his own boy?"

The Dolphins had a great draft and will crush the Browns this fall.

Brady Quinn is exactly where he wants to be. Deep into the brown stuff.

The Dolphins are the greatest NFL franchise ever; as fans we should live and breathe that. No other team has a higher winning percentage than the Dolphins. Never forget that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Dolphins return to their winning ways in 2007 and they sure as Hell don't need some _______ like Quinn to accomplish it.

my first reacton was NNOOOOOOOOOOO!!! u morons what have u done but since the nerves have settled and the dust has cleared somewhat since draft day i am a little less skeptical. i think it will depend on how beck compares to quinn more so than how ginn plays whether or not it was the right choice. for now i just hope that we get trent green in here.
 
Well being a Notre Dame Fan as well as a Phin fan and a fan of the home town Browns I was hoping he would land in one of two places. The first being Miami the second was Cleveland. I think Quinn will have a solide career as will Beck. Only time will tell who turns out to be better but it's a bit early to say Quinn will be a bust. I look forward to seeing both of my teams rise up at the same time. But if it comes down to Miami vs. Cleveland in the playoff's then sorry Brownies I have to stick with my Phins.
 
In what round is a player picked that can still be considered a bust? If a player doesn't come through or make the roster from the 4th or 5th round...is it still a bust?
I'm happy we got Beck and passed on Quinn...we got the more accurate QB...and as for Drew Stanton huge BUST... Video of his proday was pathetic, besides off the mark on most passes, he threw ducks...very sad to see.
 
the thing that kills me is people think quinn is all that nice he isn't he hasn't played well in a big game at notre dame, russell killed him head to head, it was more of the system that charlie weiss was running instead of the qb, and his accuracy isn't that good, one more thing if he was all that as a futute qb, he would of went before the 20 something pick, not saying quinn is bad but beck is nice from the video i saw with picking ginn jr. we have someone who can play now,

I love how Quinn is going to be such a bust according to some on this board.
These same people want to say how much better Beck was at BYU playing against much lesser competition. I guess we will find out.
