Remember how Don Strock would come off the bench for Woodley and be brilliant? Then he would get a chance to start and he would suck. Every time he came off the bench, it was like the second coming. A perfect example is the greatest playoff game EVER against San Diego in '81. Woodley put us in a hole early and Strock came in and was all world. He could not handle starting, however. Every time he started he sucked, which was why he could never keep the starting job. It seems that Sage does the same thing. The few times he has come off the bench he has looked good. His starts have not fared so well. Why is that? Maybe some guys can not handle the pressure of starting.
