but he was hardly forgotten. Maybe undervalued at this point, but when I think of players and I look at which dolphins made the probowl, I remembered each and every player there, or at least the ones i've seen on tv/person. Ed perry was the first one that made me think... "what was that long snapper's name that never screwed up on special teams?"

Not sure I agree with him being forgotten. I can still vividly remember that Pick6 against buffalo, and playing him in temco super bowl when he was in good or excellent condition, esp if offerdahl was in average or bad condition.
