The Best of Coach Speak

I was just reading the coach speak on Pouncey's season in a separate thread, and it got me thinking about all the whoppers we've heard from this coaching staff and front office. Take a look at my list. Can you add some more?

1. Pouncey had his best season.
2. We're good at OG to start the season.
3. Thomas' lack of production is due to us not getting the defensive looks we needed.
4. We really like Kiko's instincts.
5. Damien Williams has earned his snaps.
6. McDonald has better back end coverage skills than people realize, and Reshad Jones is underrated in his coverage skills.
7. We're going to play press coverage a majority of the time because that matches what our defense does well.
8. The problems on defense are correctable, the scheme is not the problem (weekly lie).

Jermon Bushrod graded as one of the best guards in the league (repeated all through offseason after we resigned him. Can't say I agree but I'm not in charge).

I believe it's these guys that said that Dallas Thomas needs to get in the weight room and he'll be fine.

I believe we were also sold some crap about how the wide 9 is perfect for our aging dline when we gotMario Williams and Cam was gonna take a back seat

If we keep Burke we are in for a major ****storm next year. Nothing scarier than a coach who refuses to change his scheme when it is proven not to work. But hey let's ignore the past two years and believe he will get it right this year

We need to pay up and get Wade or Schwartz. Only in my dreams of course.

Cutler was a good fit for this offence.

They did this one game (against NE) and we kicked ass. "Now let's go back to our regular defense and give up some real easy plays to KC"
