Hey fin fans lets be pumped about how awesome our offense can be instead of trade this and that..... being a die hard fin fan and over all pro football, how can you have Ricky, Ronnie, Lamar, Kj, Sammy and all pro tight end, and maybe the best wr's tandem in nfl... am i wrong... i mean the offensive line must vastly improve but it cant get worse than last year. I just see to many playmakers to say we dont have a chance... f??k anybody who says we don't, every year is a new one so i say damn we got Ricky and Ronnie two studs rb with awesome dephth... anyways my venting is pointless but the battle is coming, we shall soon see

I totally agree with you, you never know how far a team can go, this offense is totally different than last years.
We have potentially the best running game in the league, good receivers good OL coaching and a real O coordinator.
Lets face it this ain't 2004, lets not forget Saban and game planning.
OL and DL are the big questions.
Don't bring QB into it, because we all saw what Fiedler did last year with no OL and no RB.
Jay had a winning record until 2004.
So AJ and or Gus should be able to do the job.

Im loving your motivation. Ill feel better once I hear that Ronnie Brown is signed and that Ricky is atleast around 225. But i do share your excitement.

Are we just homers..... I just can't see it for the simple fact i know football and who's good and who's ok, bottomline we have play makers across the board on the whole team... i feel it's the scheme and for once in a long time i feel we have very competent coaches who will actually game plan to their opponents weakness just like we had done to us the past few years.... all teams have good talent but the coaching is the key

I still stand by my prediction that the Phins will be 11-5 this season.

We don't have anywhere close to the best WR tandem in the NFL, but when you consider the trio of Chris Chambers, Marty Booker and David Boston...

Not to mention Randy Mac at TE, that is definitely a very very good group of weapons on the peremeter. The offensive line will improve, and if we can just cut down on the interceptions our offense should be very interesting.

Have you read the thread on wher e Ronnie and Ricky stack up.
Read it you'll see what the potential is.
No doubt that the coaching and game planning will be better than what we've seen by a Fins team in a while, AJ and the OL have taken one hell of a beating for last year but this team hasn't had real leadership and discipline in a long time, can't blame 6 guys for last years fiasco.

Other than indy who

I'm a homer but if logic prevails, given the changes made to date and barring significant injuries, this team should surprise.

Well, you used the word "tandem," correct? That means two.

1. Oakland
2. Indianapolis
3. St. Louis
4. Cincinnati
5. Detroit
6. Arizona
7. New Orleans
8. Philadelphia (just because of T.O.)
9. then you might be able to mention a Miami or Buffalo in this spot.

I think you guys are over-rating our wide receivers. They are merely adequate. We have no super stars. That will be ou r weakness.

If they (Chambers, Booker and McMichael) can get consistent and Boston is even a decent third reciever we'll be alright I think...
