You know what the best thing about Pat White is? Every time he is doubted he wins. His freshman year in the Sugar Bowl no body gave WVU a chance, then they got the Pat White and Steve Slaton show. Even Bigger when his coach left just before the Fiesta Bowl Pat White took his team on his shoulders and laid a beat down on Oklahoma!!!

Go ahead doubt him I think he feeds off it!!! :hi5:

ooh i want you in the locker room when where down at half against atl.. thats the kinda pep talk we might need

Do you really think if we are down at half of the first game in his rookie year Pat White will have anything to do with it? Besides we will be up by 10! I am calling it right now!!!!

Ive learned well not to sleep on this kid. He has been doubted from the moment he was available to play in college. The only legit program that wanted to give him a shot at QB was WVU. Guess some of those SEC schools missed the boat on that one. :foundout:

The kid has been told he cant for years, yet he continues to achieve what he sets his mind to do.

And youre right......4 years ago we were all told that the SEC was so powerful and that Georgia would kill a mediocre WVU team from a weak Big East playing in basically their home stadium. Just more than a qtr into that game and 28 points later, Pat White had their attention. Too late for ole big game Richt. :foundout:

Then everyone knew an Oklahoma team that many thought shouldve been in the title game and many said was the best team in the country would kill Pat White and WVU with their speed on D. WVU was just overmatched by a talent filled OU team. Yea......RRRRRight.

There was a team that was overmatched on that field for sure. Only it was all those pro caliber defenders on that best team in the country OU who was overmatched by Pat Whites ARM and Speed.

Just keep sleepin on him.

Analysts also said Pat White would never win a national title. I only bring this up because WVU should have taken care of business two years ago against Pitt and they would have gone on to win the National title. But he and WVU blew it, to a wanny coached team no less.

Do I think he should be judged on that blunder? No. But if you're going to praise him for college victories, you better remember the losses too.

(course as an LSU fan, i was happy, cause it let them back into the national title game to be champs)

didn't White get hurt in that Pitt game and not play most of it? i don't remember things well at my age.

Pat didn't "blow it". He was injured in the 2nd quarter of the Pitt game. If he doesn't get hurt, WVU has the Crystal Football in its trophy case.

Really how many times did Henne carry Michigan to a Bowl victory? How many times was Michigan and Henne a under dog in a BCS Bowl and cast off to the wolves only to win big? How many times was Henne elected team Captain? Better yet how many times did Henne play big and beat Ohio State?

Yup.

Some people make comments about things they know nothing about.

Pat White is the most experienced QB in this draft with 42 starts out of a possible 44.

He has beaten Tigers and Panthers. He has outrun Terrapins and a Thundering Herd. He’s soared higher than Eagles and Cardinals. He’s wrestled Bulls into surrender and grinned down a Bearcat. Neither Bulldogs nor Huskies have been much of a challenge for him, either.

But right now, Patrick White knows that the animal that will probably have the most effect on the rest of his career is a Wildcat.

If, as they say, timing is everything, then the former West Virginia University quarterback’s timing is perfect, White’s entry into the National Football League this coming weekend via the draft coming as the Wildcat formation seems to be the wave of the future, and this is a formation that seems to have been created solely for Patrick White.
