• Of all the disappointing things about this Dolphins season, this ranks as highly as anything: Only four teams have fewer sacks than Miami’s 17.

That shouldn’t be the case for a team with so much invested in its defensive line.

Cam Wake has had one sack in the past month (and that sack was awarded to him by the NFL on Friday, when the league decided that Wake and not Jordan Phillips had the sack on the near-safety against Tampa Bay).

What’s more, Andre Branch hasn’t had one in five weeks, rookie Charles Harris has just one all season and perpetually double-teamed Ndamukong Suh has 3.5, a pace off the 8.5 he had in his last season with the Detroit Lions.

One factor is that the Dolphins have trailed about 90 percent of the time in games this season. But there’s more to it than that.

Anthony said he was "pretty patient" waiting for his chance.

What are his strengths? "I could give you a ton of weaknesses," he cracked.

But seriously, "I am big and I can run."

The Dolphins want to take a look at Anthony over the final six weeks to see what they have after dealing a fifth-round pick for him. He’s under contract for next season.

50% of the nation will get this game.

Or continue every two years only to get it wrong...****ed either way, at least for the last 22 years.

My biggest disappointment was Tannehill's injury. It all went downhill from there.

My current disappointment is Gase calling the plays. I was excited when we hired him and I'm not ready to get rid of him and start all over. He's young and smart, but I think he is over his head taking on the playcalling responsibilities. I hate that he is hard-headed in stocking with Cutler. That scares me a bit because with this loyalty to the guy is getting in the way of the success of the team or he really doesn't see how Cutler is not the right choice, which doesn't give us hope for his vision in the future.

I would say the pass defense in general.

The offense struggling is to be expected with A QB who is severely limited and one who is doing everything he can to protect his own ass. Either starter is going to be bottom 5 play.

Starting up front with the poor pass rush. Suh still goes all out each game, while that contract does not help the team, the man still plays hard and is still the most dominant player on the defense. Wake has finally hit that wall...he is a physical marvel, but at some point in all players careers, especially those where athleticism is valued at a premium...the game starts to fall, quickly. As many holes as we have on this team (and there are many), this is one area we have put the most resources towards and is giving almost nothing in return. The pass coverage by the LBS is about as bad as we have seen with this team. I like Jones and McDonald, but neither are great coverage safeties and it becomes more evident each week that we need a true free safety. The CBs are young and I expect them to get beat...Howard hasn't taken the step you hope, but he has shown some growth.

Overall, we are being embarrassed in the passing game. No pass rush, poor coverage by the LBs and Safeties leads to teams being able to easily extend drives.

Tannehill's injury for me too.

The addition of J Cutler...Guy was retired from the game with a gig already set up and they go after him.

Good morning sir. Who is your replacement then? Do we continue to this every two years until we get it right?
I hope not. Coach was one thing I didn’t think I’d have to worry about coming into this season. Now I’m doubting if Gase is the right guy. I’m
Hoping he’s just having a one off year which every coach has.

The biggest disappointment is being disinterested only 8 weeks in, after 8 weeks of junk.

The defense started out so well then just nose dived. Overall I've seen a serious regression for each any every one of them. The ones I'm Most disappointed in are Howard, Kiko, and Jones. Howard was overhyped by some in this site but right now he's not even average. He's allowing an over 100 rating on receivers he covered and his effort has become a serious problem. He is a serious candidate for replacement next year imo. Kiko also received mixed reviewer but at least he made some plays last year. This year he looks Phillip Wheeler bad. He can't cover, tackle or even be in the right spot on most plays. He literally should change his number to 0 as he practicality wear a target on the field. Finally Jones was suppose to be our tone setter. When we lost him last year the defense was done. This year he hasn't set the tone at all with his inconsistent play and is a liability in coverage. The leaders and stars just can't disappear like they do for long stretches. Unless Harris has the light come on, Tank improves his overall technique, and Mcmillian is the second coming of zach Thomas we could be in serious trouble defensively for quite some time.
