The blue back in our Aqua?

I'm watching the Phins v Saints replay now and I'm wondering if they finally got rid of the greenish color in the jerseys and went to a closer blue like back in the days? Or is it just my TV? :D

this is from the New Orleans game. Sorry the pic is huge it's so you can see if it looks different. I can't really tell.
 
Something about our aqua is very conditional depending on the broadcast. I'm certain it's still the same. I know what you're saying though, sometimes I think it's changed for a minute or two.
 
I like the greenish aqua not the bluish aqua. Just my 2 cents.
 
I have always loved the bluish aqua we once had...(I believe that it was 70's and early 80's.Those things literally glowed when the sun hit them,and seemed to be nuclear powered.I hope we bring'em back!
 
AM I iimagining but i saw a marino jersy a couple months ago and it was lighter aqua then my Jason Taylor jersey did our jerseys have a lighter color aqua ?
 
The aqua of the 1970's was a greener aqua. the aqua of the early 1980s was a bluish aqua. From about 1984 to 1996 (I have an authentic Wilson Marino jersey from 1996) is a greener aqua. When they changed logos and color schemes following the 1996 season (added the blue), they went to a darker aqua.

The aqua we used in the mid 1980's looked almost like a pastel color in the sun. In fact on the NFL Films 1986 NFL Season video, the narartor (it's not Facenda but I don;t recall the guy's name) refers to Miami's uniforms as "pastels" and it shows Shula leaving the locker room before agame in aviator sunglasses. I loved the swagger of that mid-80's team.
 
I like the colour you get off the Dolphin on the helmets when the sun shines on it......... you get that Electric bluey Aqua colour, almost like a terquise blue.

The jerseys look this way because the stadium is so dark...been to the superdome numerous times and it isnt well lite at all! jerseys do look good in the dark lighting though....

The greenish tint made it more of a teal. Aqua is essentially a bluish color. I'm glad if we are truly going back to our roots and a true aqua blue shade for our uniforms
