Anyone with a little common sense knows that we are not superbowl bound (yet). If starting Gus allowed us to win 2 games more than leaving his thrid string #$$ on the bench all year what have we really gained. AJ needs a chance with a real scheme and a decent O-line to show us what he has period. Let him play the whole year and at the end of the season if it is clear that he is not the ans. we can move on.

Gus under center will drive me as crazy as wanny running the ball on third in six right up the gut. GUS is 100% not the ans for a long term QB. SO PLEASE let's have some patience and see what AJ can really do...........:fire:

i want AJ to do well cos he got knocked from pillar to post last season and he played banged up. If he cant do it tho i see us drafting next season.

I agree, we need to give the guy we invested a 2nd round pick a year to see if he is what we all want him to be. AJ Feeley got a raw deal last year. I don't think he is half as bad as he's shown. I just think our entire offense was crap and it made him look extremely bad.

Yeah, great idea. If AJ sucks it up in camp and looks like a deer in headlights and can't pick up the offense and can't hit the broad side of a barn, let's give him the job anyway just because Spielman screwed up and overpaid for him. GREAT idea!!! :shakeno:

Heres why I continue to remain hopeful for AJ. After losing his starting job in college due to injury...he was drafted by Philadelphia in the fifth round. Andy Reid and Brad Childress saw some amount of talent to draft this guy...and in the fifth.thats not a throw away pick. Andy Reid is reknown for his ability to evaluate talent. When AJ had time last year..he actually looked Very good at times..and alright at others. I think QB is a position where it is imperative to get into a good rythym. I think we can all agree that that was almost an impossibility last year. There was no cohesion what so ever..from our coaching...the gameplan..or lack ther of. At this point..you really need to refer back to what Andy Reid saw. He can be a very talented QB in the right system...much in the same way as Brady.

I agree. The Dolphins need to find out if he can become a player or not. Last year, there was no way he could be judged fairly with the way the offensive line played, lack of running game, bad coaching etc. I just wonder if Saban will be patient with any growing pains Feeley is sure to have.

bring on Omar Jacobs! I don't see Feeley doing well, Fuerotte will start

Feeley may not have growing pains this coming season with a good running game and a OL that can actually protect him this season. At least lets see him get a shot.

I saw that game, and the Pats game, but unfortunatly I also saw the rest of the season.

Your being a little drastic.....deer in headlights, not hiting a barn. He has a strong arm and simply put GUS MR 3RD STRING STINKS...... or maybe you dont remember who he is. How do we become better by starting gus??????

GIVE ME A BREAK.....

we are not talking about a yound 2nd string qb.....we are talking about a bum.....simply put who has 2 maybe 3 avg. years left
