I know we didn’t possess the ball much - short drive after the fumble, couldn’t get Buffalo off of the field but we only had 215 yards of offense. It didn’t feel that way for some reason. It’s kinda a miracle we won if you look at the box score. Very odd game

Our defensive strategy was to play bend-but-don't-break and tighten up in the red zone. That's exactly what we did. Our offense was more efficient than their offense so we won.

For sure. I was surprised though - it didn’t feel like we didn’t have many yards. I guess because we had a good yards per play measure
I knew we didn’t have many yard because the Bills where on the field all day. It felt like the Colts game years ago where we ran the ball up and down the field and settled for field goal’s all game and lost.

That game was maddening. I think we had the ball 49 minutes and lost 21-17

Box scores don't tell it all.
Red zone performance does a much better good job of explaining wins and losses.

It’s funny I was telling someone that the way we win this game is by controlling the clock and keeping Allen off the field, turns out the exact opposite happened and we still won lol

The last play of the game had so many twists about what could happen. Obviously, a lot was mentioned about McKenzie not getting out of bounds, rightfully so. Interestingly, if Ingram would have successfully sacked Allen at Buffalo’s 45-yard line, the Bills would have had time to set-up, spike the ball and attempt a Hail Mary. By whiffing and extending the play, the clock burned valuable seconds. Whew!
