I read somewhere before the Marshall trade the Dolphins were roughly 9.5 million under the cap and with some resignings just hours prior to the start of free agency. So with the trade of Marshall we should be roughly 14 to 14.5 million under the salary cap, im figuring Marshall was costing us around 5 million per year this year before the trade. It seems that with a team that is so lacking in talent we should have a more cap space to spend. Just off the top of my head the only 2 players that are real cap heavy for us is Karlos Dansby and Jake Long, im sure their are other thier just has to be. Where has our teams money been spent and why havent we resigend a core lineman like Langford. I guess in the end next year I fear Jake long may no longer be with the team because our lack of cap space and that just opens up another spot for a team that seems to have so many holes.
