I love my Dolpins but i will not be the unrealistic geek to my friends and family this year. Every year ive believed we would be 3 to 5 games better than we ended up being, but this year, if you guys are honest with yourselves, then you will look at us this way.
Our defense consists of cast offs or past their prime guys with the exception of Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor and Channing Crowder....and that being nice to Zach. Plus we've had them together now forever. Seau, Carter, Holliday, Jones, Traylor and Madison are pretty much either past their prime and over 30, or their respective teams thought so much of them....that they proceeded to cut them. Period. Just the truth. Spragan, Bell, Howard, are just guys. That is our defense, and we all know that any injury to one of our LB's or secondary or D-line will decimate us very quickly....there is no quality depth guys. Thats the truth.
Our Qb's suck, even though I think G.F. is clearly the best option. Our offensive line is probaly in worse shape than our QB's and that right there alone, is enough to lose half your games, our offense goes as far as the line goes and the QB, of course. I really believe in our skill guys, but they will be rendered ineffective from the QB and line. Folks we have the #1 ranked toughest schedule in ALL of the NFL....and our first three opponents are killers...playoff broncos, who score points, jets who are very good and Carolina who looks like a S.B. contender. Its like the Hurricane....its gonna get worse before it gets better, but with all this truth, our Coach is clearly our STRENGTH. He is slowly getting rid of the Wannstedt sludge and did the best with what he had to work with this year. My hope lies in the fact that He and Mueller will bring in more pics that will continue to get this Wanndstedt stink off of this proud franchise. In closing, we no what idiot-stedt did to the bears and then to us...who always had winning seasons....but did you see what Charlie Weiss did to him last night at Heinz field? Remember Wrongstedt inherited a Fiesta Bowl team that was very good and they still have their starting QB. He is now in the process of Hurricane Katrina-ing the Pitt Panthers! Be glad we at least have hope in the future with Mr. Saban....that is our solace....and with that.....lets hope for the best....good night.
