Patience...

Yes, I dont understand the point the thread starter is trying to make... Even if everything he says is correct, I'd say we would still have a damn good offseason drafting Brown... I happen to think Boston might be back in a restructured contract tho... JMO
Boston is going to be with Jerry Sullivan (49'ers) and that's that.
Look, I understand why the guy posted the thread, it's true. WE ARE REBUILDING! And some of you guys are acting like an 18 year old with their first Platinum card.
Saban has kept most of the Offensive Line because he considers them fair starters and good back-ups. However, he's not STUPID. He hasn't announced his plans for the draft because he REALLY wants people to think he's gonna stay at number 2. Then and ONLY then will a team give up big picks to swing up. Why would you give up a big pick to get a top RB to a team that traded for Edge or Alexander?
Ahhh... But how much would you give up to a team sitting at number 2 that NEEDED a running back? YOUR running back? Saban knows how this game works. The first thing he did was address the defensive line so that he could have flexibility in front packages between 3-4 and 4-3.
Next it will be the offensive line and specifically Left Tackle and Center. Unless some serious competition is brought in Saban will consider this offseason a bust. Yes, you sign Frerrotte to back up Feeley. Yes you bring in a Darren Sharper or someone experienced to play safety.
But RB's are a dime a dozen this year between Alexander and James and Travis Henry. Don't forget how many of them we have signed to this team already! Gordon, Morris, etc....
I think Saban is keeping his cards close to the vest until draft day where he can get the best deal possible and only slide down 5 or 6 spots and pick up a good speed WR (we have nothing but possesion receivers on our team) a stud Center and a rookie RB. He just needs the right deal. Also, don't be surprised to se Surtain go for a high third round pick, especially to the 49'ers. Saban needs bullets. 27 and 26 year old RB's with bad knees don't interest him at all.
HE IS REBUILDING. HE WON'T TRADE FOR A PLAYER, HE WILL ONLY TRADE FOR A PICK.
Hope that was loud enough for everyone to hear.
By the way, those players that are unhappy now might hold out. If that happens, there's still alot that can be done AFTER the draft on addressing positions, especially in June.
PATIENCE.
GO PHINS!!
