People need to chill out and realize our offseason will not be hard to predict the rest of the way and it will go like this:
-We will NOT trade for E James
-We will NOT trade for S Alexander
-We will NOT trade for D Darius
-We will NOT resign D Boston
-We will NOT sign P Burress
-We will NOT sign D Sharper
-We may or may not trade P Surtain, but if we do it will be for a draft pick - no better than a 2nd. We will NOT receive a player in return.
-We will draft a RB with the #2 pick. We will 99% sure NOT trade down for additional picks.
I'm not arguing that it wouldn't be nice to have these players and I agree they could really help us. But the reality of the situation is is that we DO NOT have the cash to make these moves. The entire reason we are getting rid of Surtain is because we will not be able to afford him, not becasue his level of play has diminished. How do you justify losing a high priced player with exceptional skills for another when the entire reason you're making the move in the 1st place is for financial reasons. Use your head people, we simply don't have the cash!!!!!!
When you give up a draft pick for an established player, not only are you giving up a lot of money to sign that player, you are also giving up part of your future that you would have had if you drafted the younger player. Also, the younger player would come at a much cheaper rate.

We all know it will be difficult to land James / Alexander, but it can be done. That being realistic IMO. Add to the fact that both RB's are now being shopped for less than their initial acking price, and that both would love to play in Miami, and I think you've got a serious possibility of it happening....
This trade was initially viewed as impossible based on the FT's, but now things have changed, and they've changed in our favor. Not only that, we'd be in great shape being able to keep the #2 overall pick as well....
This is a no lose situation for Saban and the Phinz IMO, and we'd be foolish not to strongly conisder a trade for one of these elite RB's....
PHINZ RULE!!!
