The curse is real

Canes don't have the talent or depth of the Seminoles. Richt will fix that.

However, once Dalvin Cook is gone from FSU these games will swing Canes way. That dude has single handedly beaten the Canes for the last 3 years.

As depressed as I am right now.... This is all true

Closed the gap quite a bit though. He literally made two huge plays. But that and a Jacory Harris esque throw from Felicia's son was enough.

Not sure if it's the burial ground curse, or the perfect season curse!
They both suck!

Miami needs to be Miami and stop trying to do what fans or what other teams are doing.

What I mean by that is we are constantly trying to copy what everyone else is doing. When other teams go 3-4 we copy it, when other teams want to pass it more we copy it, when other teams shun "bad personality" players, we copy it.

Were always playing catch up.

I remember a player a few years ago was talking about philbin. He said philbin wants to make the dolphins the packers. But he can't because this is Miami. And that stuck with me. We need to accept were not other teams. We need to accept we can't keep copying the status quo.

We need to do things our way, we need to play Miami football, whatever that means. IMO that means, stop trying to be followers. Make our own road to greatness.

That why I want Chad Kelly and Cutler. We need to embrace being the team that doesn't give a crap what people think. We need our own identity and own style of winning. Screw the media. We need to be the Miami Dolphins.

Embrace the bad boy role, embrace players that aren't perfect but play hard, embrace not giving a crap what anyone thinks.

Until we grow an identity we won't be a good team IMO. I think Gase can do thst if he's allowed to, I really do.

And you were going so well until you said Cutler:bobdole:

You lost me at Cutler, but otherwise I agree.

I don't love cutler, but we need to be honest with ourselves.

If tannehill continues the way he is, he's gone. Cutler knows the system and has shown he can efficiently run that with a terrible oline, Alshon, white, and forte injured, which is a far worse roster than what we could offer cutler.

On top of that he loves gase and his system, so he will be motivated to play well. Cutler needs coaches that he respects, he respects Gase.

And at the end of the day, there is no better veteran options. If you have a better option, show it to me. Also, he will be easy/cheap to get.

I don't expect it to be long until Kelly takes his spot I think he's NFL ready.

I understand your point, but I would probably start the rookie. Unless we draft a QB in a later round. Then I would consider a vet QB.
