I feel sick to my stomach that got so close to the playoffs and failed (miserably) to get in. But you know what? We weren't, in reality guys, a true playoff team. So, really, it wouldn't of matter if we got in or not, we are not a playoff caliber team - this year anyway. With that said I surely am convinced that our offensive coordinator must get canned.

Our Dolphins will be much improved (they better be in the playoffs next season) come 2014/15. We'll be ready sooner rather than later. Being bitter will result in anything. With a new offensive coordinator and, if we play our cards right, a much improved o-line (overhaul), we may even get the division title next year: remember how well we played them in game two.

So take a chill pill, sit back and erase all the negativity... It won't change a single thing.

You can't simply state "things will be better." I heard that same crap last year...how'd that work out?

there is nothing that says Miami will be much improved and if changes are not made there isnt a shot in hell that we will be an incling better next year... and if you think we will be, you absolutely must believe that Buffalo, NE, and the Jets will also be.

I know this isnt a playoff caliber team but it is an accomplishment all in its own to actually make it, and to be proud during that week leading up to the game, instead of feeling sick to our stomachs like you do, for a FIFTH year in a row.

Well said. I know many will disagree with you and question how you know we will get better, but whether or not we improve, there is nothing we can do now. The damage has been done, our hearts will bleed for a few weeks, and we will then look forward to FA. This process is getting old and repetitive, but what else can we do?

I was going to start a thread similar to this. I also took the loss hard. Could not sleep either. Foolish actually. To allow a ****ing game to play such a large role in my life is just so wrong on so many levels.
But I do not agree all will be well in Miami.
I have been waiting for many years with similar results every single time.

humph, that's weird... that ain't what I heard all last offseason; all thru OTA's, draft, pre-camp, training camp and preseason was how this team was poised to supplant the Patriots as AFCE champs!

how'd we do?

btw, your last words were most on point: as far as Ross and this franchise going forward, they won't change a single thing.

keys to the 'door to the floor'. I'm saying 3-13 in 2014.

Nothing less than the playoffs is acceptable.

If you want to be content and happy about being a lousy ass team again.. be my guest.

If that's the only major change next year then we'll be no better than 7-9 or 8-8. Blaming this all on the coordinator is so far beyond preposterous I wouldn't know where to begin. But you don't even have to take my word for it, last time we replaced the o coordinator, you know the year before Philbin we started out 0-7 and finished 6-10.

If people keep thinking the problem is simply a coordinator, and don't cut the rot out at the core, we'll end up with the same exact results.

Well out QB improved his stats and we were in the hunt all the way to the last 15 minutes of the season.

Year prior we were outta the hunt by week 12.

So there was improvement, just not that one and done playoff appearance we were all looking for.

I must say that I don't understand people's thought process on this one.

I don't care how you get into the postseason, players/staff need it. There is nothing like it. It's as different to the regular season, as preseason is to the rigors of the full 16. I know we're trying to cope here, but just being in the playoffs is an invaluable experience and carries a lot of weight in future development of team confidence/comradery.

There are some extreme changes that must be made about in our organization, period. Losing two straight divisional games and failing the postseason when it was ours to be determined is unacceptable. Attitudes (or in our case, lack thereof) start from the top down. I really hope we, as loyal fans, of the Miami Dolphins realize that is our voice that can heard. This doesn't sit well with me and I would think it the same goes for everyone else. We are foolish if we don't think Ross wants to here from us., especially right now when "everything" for him is being mulled over.
