The Debate is FINALLY settled...The Fiedler haters.....WIN!!!

Yeah and did you see Jay Fumble? ...throw a pick?....

Jay cost Miami 7 points by throwing an interception in the endzone. Jay then proceeded to throw another interception that set up a Titans touchdown. This was after Jay fumbled the football. On the very next series, Jay throws another interception that was ruled out of bounds.

Jay Fiedler = Zero points and two first downs.

AJ Feeley came in and ran the offense much better. AJ Feeley didn't have a single three and out series. He threw the ball well, and with the exception of one play, he made good decisions. The TD pass to McMichael was a big time throw, and he made another great throw to Michael Booker. At some point, he will get comfortable enough that Miami will start hitting the receivers down the field more often. AJ Feeley's arm strength and his pocket ability give the Dolphins the potential to use the entire field offensively for the first time since Dan Marino was QBing this team.

Emskrich if u are really serious with what you are sayin you are rediculous. its doesnt take a mad scientiest to figure out that by todays game feely in time has the potential to be a starter for us. Big players step up in big games. did jay today? has he ever since hes been here? no .... feeley got shoved into todays game and he showed up ready to play. if it wasnt for penalties all the freakin time we would have had a better chance. hes showed promise that we have all been looking for.

Did your "contact" give you the idea to post this?

I will defend Jay.

What he has done for this team the last 4 years has been excellent. Problem? He followed up a hall of famer. Simple as that. You Jay haters have bashed him year in and out. Griese could not unseed him, and that hurt your feelings, neither could the great Ray Lucas. I hope you get everything you want out of Feeley, and quote me on this all year long "The next Brian Griese".

You don't know what you got til its gone.

Take that to your contact. Hero.

Listen, I don't discount the fact that Feeley can be a good NFL qb.

What I am saying is simple. These same Dolphin fans that are in here jumping around because Feeley finished the second half were the same people that wanted Griese last year <cough bust cough>

They are also the same people that in every thread fail to mention the interception for a touchdown, but would rather bash Jay, and think they have the second coming of Marino.

The simple fact is this, Miami never liked Jay because he replaced Marino. Don't think that Feeley is now the great Marino, because he is not.

I am not nuts, but Jay deserves props, because the city of Miami and thier flip flop fans (see the raiders games, and the Denver game) never give him an ounce of respect.

Another post that fails to mention AJ's INT for a TD.

I've been a Fiedler supporter since the day he beat out Huard for the job in 2000. Hes a hell of a lot of heart, and guided the team to at least 9 wins for four straight seasons. I even thought it was right to give him the start for todays game. But after what I saw today, it is time for change. AJ isnt taking us to the Super Bowl, but its time to see what he can do. Fiedler is good for a ball control type of game, but with our lack or running game, he just cant do it by himself. Who knows, maybe Feeley cant either, but you have to at least give it a shot.

I have often stood up for Fiedler when he deserved it, but today was just too much. Guess what? It wasn't just Fiedler who stunk up the joint! Feeley didn't look much better. Sure, he moved the team down the field and scored but that was with us down by 17 with 6 minutes left! They (Titans) were GIVING AJ & Co. the underneath! When you are down by 17 in the 4th with 6 minutes to go, YOU HAVE TO GO DOWN FIELD WITH IT! We had nothing to lose at that point. We had everything to gain. A catch, a defensive pass interference or a touchdown and suddenly it's a different game with more time left on the clock. Bottom line is that Fiedler was terrible and Feeley wasn't much better. Something has to give.

Overall, with the exception of Randy McMichael and Lamar Gordon, this entire team sucked! It sucked so bad that I thought I was in a porn flick instead of JRS! The O-line either missed too many blocks or they just didn't have the guts to blow the defense off of the ball when it counted! When they weren't failing at their assignment, they were either holding or getting called for a false start! A FALSE START! ON THE CENTER OF ALL PEOPLE!!!! Jeezuz! HOW DOES A CENTER BLOW THE SNAP COUNT?!?!?! And one other question while I am at it.........WHO CALLED THE TIMEOUT DURING OUR EXTRA POINT ATTEMPT?!?! WHAT A FRIGGIN' WASTE!

Our defense showed signs of life but as it turns out those signs were often followed by seizures. How can our defense give up running yards at 3 and 4 yards a pop? Why is it that we STILL get burned over the middle with short passes? Teams have been doing it to us for years and they are STILL doing it! When will SOMEONE ACCOUNT FOR THE GUYS COMING OVER THE MIDDLE?!?! I would love to praise our defense but there were just too many breakdowns (at least as many as there were favorable plays). I will cut them some slack though as I am sure that they were exhausted from being on the field all day (THANKS OFFENSE).

As if all of this were already bad enough for fans to have to endure, the Refs had to add insult to injury. TWO bad calls on their part. First, the Titans player WAS out of bounds but was GIVEN the reception to keep a Titan drive alive. Next, Booker (I believe it was him) DID catch the ball, tuck it, turn and THEN the ball was knocked out resulting in the fumble that was recovered by Chambers (good heads-up play on Chris' part).......... but wait! Noooooo, although it was CLEAR on the Jumbo-tron, they blew yet ANOTHER call by calling it an incompletion, making it 4th down and forcing us to punt! Get real! Someone remind me what instant replay is for again? Well folks, I can tell you that today it was only used to prolong the fans suffering as NO call that was challenged went our way (two of those clearly being bad calls).

Dave, you have an undisciplined team that DOES NOT respect you. Your coaching staff DOES NOT respect you. The Officials DON'T even respect you! As for us fans, we have had our better days and they were clearly before you and Jimmy ran this team into the ground. I, for one, can hardly wait until the last of the Jimmy Johnson legacy is GONE.

There are a lot of words that I would love to use to describe todays game but most would get me banned. So, I will just use PATHETIC.

*Note: For those people that are going to jump on this as a "fairweather fan" post, I have been a fan all of my life and I reserve the right to call things as I see them. In short, don't waste your time or mine.

I would of liked to see Griese after practicing with the team before June first. Practicing with the team during the time before his ankle injury. The guy didn't have much preperation last year.

Miami never liked Jay because Jay fails when Miami needs him more then Jay succeeds. Look at his playoff game stats. He his very inconsistant. One week he looks like he can be a starter in this league, the next week he looks like he should of never been named a starter. To say Miami doesn't like fielder because he isn't marino is so far from the truth.

I will respectfully disagree with you, and I hope Feeley gets every opprotunity to succeed.

Explain to me what is your fascination with a QB that has taken us nowhere in 4 years over a young QB with a good arm and above average decision making skills....well compared to Fiedler at least.:p4e:

Waaaaaaait just a second. I seem to recall Jay pulling us out of a couple of games (see Oakland and Washington). I can understand if you hate Fiedler, but at least give him credit when it is due, otherwise it just looks like you have an agenda.

that was only 2 games u mentioned lol out of 4 years holy cow! i understand what ure sayin completly fiedler is a warrior and ill give him that. as for feeleys interception growing pains my man. if he would have gotten all the reps all offseason how much better do u think he would have looked. i think he looked real good today and that was with no reps with the first string all week. give him more time and i think booker chambers mcmike are gonna love this guy.

Ok I will leave it at that. However I knew Fielder could never be a starting qb in this league because he cannot throw the out pass.

There is none. Just respect for a quarterback that has stood behind an line that sucks, and has gone to war for this team on Sunday's and the fans do not give him a spit of respect.
