I know it's only the second exhibition game and the defense was dominated, first, second and third teams, but
they looked like they were running in slow motion.
Dallas defense was flying to the ball.
Fins defense was very slow getting to the ball.
Especially the linebackers looked terrible.

To be honest, I think the entire team looks slow.....it looks to me like 2 rookie coaches installing new systems. I know it is the 2nd Preseason game...but I thought it would be a little further along then this on both sides. Next game will be telling as we will game plan!

Agreed. The defense looks like easy money for the other team. Mario Williamd and Kiko Alonso look like Bills cast offs that won't be missed.

Agreed, lack emotion, can't tackle, and teams seem to be able to run and pass at will.

I want to try to spin this positively and say "They look like they're thinking, and that's why they're playing slow! Give them time to adjust!"

But they really do just look impotent.

It's funny because they bring the house at practice and all reports talk about the creativity and creating mismatches. I know it's preseason and you don't want to show much but we were blown away running base defense and that just can't happen, not consistently like it did all game long. There were almost zero plays where the defense won and an alarming amount where the Cowboys were running free in the secondary and running though gaping holes in our front seven.

I honestly don't know. I didn't think they would be good, but I thought they would be better. Next week will tell me what to expect this year. I'm trying not to overreact from this game.

This looks like a very long season is ahead. The lack of speed was painful to watch. That's what you get when you have a bunch of high priced prima donna's on your hand. Pathetic is what I watched tonight.

It's pretty simple if our dline doesn't get pressure we are done. I don't expect the garbage we are running out there at LB and CB to keep up with mediocre talent.

And they looked like the second coming of the 85 bears last preseason. There's little scheming, little competition. Don't ever read too much into preseason games. Good or bad. Because never forget, Ray Lucas was a Preseason Hall of Famer.
