The defense

the defense is too old. Zach, Madison, Holliday, Carter.........guys well past their prime
 
they are worse but both our starting safties are injured. We have sammy morris playing on defense!!! :mad:
 
Maurice Carthon is schooling Will Muschamp.

He has the perfect call for nearly every defense we call.
 
Meanwhile Sam Madison does his best Chris Chambers impression. Drops a pass that hits him in the gut.
 
Now Zach is out.

This defense is really on its heels now.

hey muck did you hear what sam did two nights ago? Shaq threw a big party and ous Sam was there as the life of the party. this makes me wonder if sam is commited to playing football. anyways i just read about this in the sunday oklahoman. i am surprised that you guys havent said anything about this.
 
The D is getting old. Its still got alot of folks from the Johnson era.

I also think Madison is the most over-rated CB in the league.
 
The defense needs more youth. For all the people on this board who were moaning about us drafting defense last year they should be ashamed of themselves.

We need two defensive tackles, another outside linebacker, another corner and a strong safety (unless Schulters can move to string safety).

Daniels gets moved to free safety because I don't think he has the wheels to play corner at this level but he can cover and hit. Poole has a future at corner and Madison stays because he can still play (no matter what the Sam bashers say).

As badly as we need a young, franchise caliber Q.B. we also need a ton of help in defense.
 
we're worse than last year, mainly because we were suppose to have better coaching and better players. We wont win 6 games this year.
