Pretty much where I am at too.
I think if we do bring in a new QB, Mike White will be the one we cut.

I want skylar too, after a closer look, pressure that was given up affected his throwing angle on the int.

he just wasn't sharp on the run like he's been in practice.

but at least he wasn't a little bitch imo like white

Agreed... the fact that Skyler got first crack at the job should be concerning to White... then he really didn't look good at all.

If the race is really neck and neck... and that isn't just coach speak, then the tie should go to the improved player over the guy who seems to have peaked.

It would be better for all of us if Thompson wins the job.

here's the problem with white, he tries to make up for his lateness with one trajectory bullet throws that have 0 touch and pace relative to the route, its ridiculous..its like bad chad henne

Agreed 100%. But more importantly, they aren’t good enough to lead this Dolphins’ team to wins for multiple games as a starter. That’s why I am 100% certain that if Tua needs to miss multiple games, they will sign or trade for a much more proven vet.

Cutting White clears 3.5 mil. But then Cotton takes his place in the top 51 at 1.1. So we would save about 2.4 mil. Honestly I say cut him.

He is guaranteed money so the cap savings is 3.5 mill and if replaced by a minimum contract of 1,000,000 than by cutting White you are saving 2.5 mill off the cap not 6 mill

Yea..I mentioned that in the GameDay thread. Hayes guy got in and caused Skylar to be disrupted. Definitely don't blame him there.. Plus, most the drops in the game were on the soon to be riding busses recievers

I would welcome bringing in a Vet with legit experience to back up Tua and I would seriously consider drafting a QB next year if I could find one with a Tua like skill set in terms of quick release, accuracy and processing.

I would Draft one pretty early too, not 1st round, but 2nd round would be on the table for the right guy.

White was lousy on the Jets too. We need a vet who has actually won some games as a starter.
 
Imo... McDaniel should adjust the offense for skyler and white. If needed. They clearly can't run this one like Tua can

It makes no sense to keep White at this point. He costs too much to be that bad. See what else is out there while saving some $ in the process.
