The Dolphins about to face a brutal stretch in their schedule

i wouldnt say that. obviously that is not what they r known for, but they did hold the lions to 7 pts offensivley last week in that dome, and the lions have a very good offense, and today they were pretty good vs a good bears offense in chicago.

either way, the packers fortunately for them do not need to have a stout defense to get by, because they have this guy named aaron rodgers, hes pretty decent at football, and jordy nelson and randall cobb who are lethal with YAC.

imo, and obviously anything can happen between now and then for the packers, but barring any major injuries to them on offense, this could be a game in which tannehill will need to will our team to victory, because i do not see envision our defense holding down the packers offense, but hope i am wrong.

The only defenders Green Bay has that are worth a **** are Matthews and Shields. Thats about it.

Don't worry yourself, he's probably just as much a hater as you, and being sarcastic...so relax.

the good thing is we will have our strongest part of the team when we come back from the bye week ....our pass rush w/Fede & Jordan should cause havoc

all of the games on our schedule are possible losses. I don't see any games left that I think are a sure win. For some reason, we have had luck against Green Bay, we have always played good against the chargers, maybe we split with the jets. I think 8-8 will be difficult this year. I think that we are in the patriots head after back to back wins over them. Can Tannehill play great in more than one out of five games? With qb playing good we can do okay

We lost to a winless team halfway through the season last year, of course all games are possible losses.

I don't know if Tannehills decisiveness today was because the Raiders are bad or if he's turned a corner and started trusting himself. Today, he made the right reads and threw the ball with the correct trajectory and with authority. He always had an outlet and he used it when he needed to. Here's to more QB and Defensive play like today.

agreed!

I really want to enjoy this week. Get stupidly optimistic and if reality comes crashing down on us the next few weeks at least I'll have enjoyed this a little bit. And with the returning players we have on the way, we can give these teams a fight.

I look at that schedule and I really can't find more than 5 more wins, 6 at the most. I said it at the time and I still believe it, that KC game was a must win for us to have a shot at 9-7 or the playoffs. I see 7-9 to be honest at this point. Hope I am wrong but that is what I see. Our LB play has to get a WHOLE lot better and our turnover margin has to become consistently in the positive for us to end up better than 8-8.

We've been okay after the bye under Philbin. We thumped the Jets in 2012 and we had that Bills game we lost in the 4th quarter last season. Given how bad we've been against the Bills under Philbin, that actually wasn't a bad showing.

Plus we killed Cleveland and the Patriots in home openers. The only home opener we lost was Tannehill's first ever game as a pro. Green Bay won't be easy but hopefully they slaughter their opponent again next week and soften themselves up for the trap.

Err, you mean season openers? I wouldn't say we thumped Cleveland, but yeah we are 2-1 in openers under Joe. We are actually 3-0 in home openers under Joe Philbin. Crushed the Raiders (Reggie Bush went ham), beat the Falcons in the last minute of the game, and then smoked the Patriots.

As great as the Dolphins played today, I'm going to withhold my judgment because they've been so bipolar and they've burned me before. These next two games will be an excellent gauge. If we come out flat for the Pack after the way we looked against the Raiders, it'll take an awful lot for Philbin to get me back on board with him, because that's been this team's MO with him, even more so with him than any coach the last 15 years.

Here's your chance, Dolphins. I'm keeping an open mind. Show me you can build off success. Show me you can take advantage of a bye week and come out fired up and perform in a big home game. It's all in your hands now.

I'm pretty sure I'm coming to see one of the November games, all I ask for is it doesn't have the atmosphere of a glorified preseason game. That Packers game is gonna be huge.
