The Dolphins about to face a brutal stretch in their schedule

If Tannehill plays like he did in the 1s half against the Raiders, Lazor continues to stick with the running game, and the team cuts down on the turnovers and other mistakes then they will have a great shot to beat the Packers and Bears. The Defense won't be able to completely shut down either of those offenses, but if the Offense does their part and gives the Defense some rest then both of those games are very winnable. The Dolphins are capable of beating any team left on their schedule if the whole team brings their A game.

This bye couldn't come at a better time though. Get Pouncey back to working with the OL. Get Jones back into the defensive scheme. Get Moreno healthy. Let Clay finish healing. Let Misi finish healing. Hell, getting 20%+ of our starters back, healthy, and ready to play will be huge. It'll be like a season opener for them too.

I say GB is a win, especially if it's really hot. Chicago will be a L, and then we win the next 2. 5-3 to finish the first half of the season.

yeah no doubt we getting into the meat and potatoes...green bay has gone no huddle with the offense now that bulaga is back and is torching people...rodgers is playing the best qb in football...by a long shot...miami needs to come out of the bye playing with more tempo on offense and while the o must score tds to beat the pack the d needs to get some stops...

will be nice though to get back pouncey misi and reshad jones...

The Packers dont have a defense. Jags still suck. Bears will be tough. Lions are hard to get a feel on. Manning will kill us.

Manning will kill us but Aaron Rodgers wont (even though you think Bears will be tough and GB destroyed them) ? GB is going to kill us too.

Here is my prediction for the remainder of the season as it stands today:

vs GB - L (2-3)
@ Chicago - L (2-4)
@ Jags - W (3-4)
vs SD - W (4-4) (we own SD)
@ Detroit - L (4-5)
vs Buffalo - L (4-6) (Buffalo owns us)
@ Denver - L (4-7)
@ Jets - L (4-8)
vs Baltimore - L (4-9) Although I see this going either way. But then again there's Steve Smith who should torch our defense.
@ NE - L (4-10) (Eliminated from playoff contention)
vs Minny - W (5-10)
vs Jets - W (6-10)

This team isnt very mentally tough and unfortately takes on the persona of its HC. I wish I was more optimistic but I dont see us going any better than 6-10, 7-9 IMO. Hopefully Philbin gets canned and Hickey retained.

We seem to show up against better teams, and lay down for the bad teams, so I am looking forward to this schedule. I think we can be competitive in all of these games, but Denver is the only one that really worries me.

That's a 6-10 schedule. Enjoy the raiders while you can. It's gonna be a long season.

If we win our home games and beat Jacksonville, we should be right there with 9 wins. Stealing a win at the Jets or Patriots would seal a playoff spot. I just don't see us beating Buffalo if they don't commit turnovers. Their DL is dominating.

We get Baltimore AGAIN AT HOME this year?!? That's extremely odd. You'd think we would trade home/away. Must have been changed to balance out home and away for both teams' schedules.

I doubt Hickey makes it. This is not a performance-based decision. This will be regime-based. Hickey is the previous regime. And I wouldn't be too surprised if we see Gang Green starting to replace turquoise. If Ross can't land his man Harbaugh, Dawn Aponte's fingerprints will be all over these hires. And then FH will cease to operate.

It would be a mistake to get rid of Hickey. IMO he has outperformed in 1 year what it took Ireland 5 years to do. If Ross cant see this then Miami will not be relevant until he sells the team.
