that is the interesting thing. as i said in the NBA it is about the talent. and yet, the Heat really without the talent, still made it to the finals last year, because they out-toughed and out-worked the opposition. it starts with the culture there. work hard in offseason. practice hard. play hard. it matters, even in the nba. the dolphins need more of this and less of the kumbaya bs

i cannot stand the sport, i don't watch the games, but i do observe what goes on. i really do find the heat and riley fascinating from an org structure perspective. they have had a sustained period of success. this is one more example where ownership and culture matter.

He does delegate to the coaches. Weaver wanted Barrett instead of AVG for one example. And yes Grier is at fault for that. We need a real leader of the organization
