I also don't doubt for a minute that Jeff Ireland has been feeding Armando Salguero a one-sided version of events. That might be why Armando has been going balls deep on Philbin since the Incognito/Martin thing broke and has been trying to put the fear of Tannenbaum in the fanbase since Jeff's seat became a thermonuclear warhead in the midst of implosion?

All the reporters have been taking about the fighting between Ireland and Philbin and you know how much I hate Ireland I'm just saying you guys are discrediting this because you don't like Armando.
 
I think we're laughing at the article because all the talk about Philbin / Ireland relationship has been out there for a while now, nothing new. Then he lambasts Ross saying how he won't conduct the rsearch right with the guys he suggests. Oh and you know what, Ross is looking into those guys. The rest is just conjecture.

Well, I'm not discrediting the report that Aponte 'tattled' on Philbin. I believe it, and I also think that's just a typical Jeff Ireland move to take one last dump on the franchise on his way out.

But this Tannenbaum/Mangini obsession of his? Which he's already stated is nothing but his own speculation? Laughable. Other guys have already reported that the list of GM Candidates includes actual good names who aren't those clowns. Armando claiming that the job is awful and top candidates are going to turn Ross down? Don't buy that for a second -- I think this is an appealing job and guys like Darlington and Ian Rapoport have already said that this is viewed as a top tier job by guys around the league.

So yeah, Armando might have got one last scoop from Jefflon, but he's still full of ****.
