This is all my opinion and not based on what I have heard but I think with Williams back that our team is about to become red hot. We should have one of the best if not the best rushing attack in the league now that we have Williams back. Imagine the possiblities, Williams and Brown will both put up 100 some games and every game they should combine for at least 150 yards rushing. And with this killer rushing attack, Frerotte won't feel any pressure to produce which should make him better. If our offense catches fire like I think it should then our D should become the best in the NFL due to it receiving more rest during games. Thoughts?

Well, so far I have seen the team keep every game within victory limits. I have seen them play better at home then on the road. I have seen them cause the losses themselves more than the opposing team created the victory.

I am optomistic but the players have the responsibility to themselves, the organization, and the fans to play smart and with passion.

Good teams keep the game within reach, Great Teams dont beat themselves.

Up to this point, Miami has the potential to be great based on the scheme and what the coaching staff has instilled in practice and off the field....its up to the players to cut down on mistakes on the field.

Agreed. The playcallign by Linehan sometimes seems a little helter skelter and that's been one of his knocks (see SI football preview). When we get behind I think we abandon the run and quick underneath passes too quickly. Overall we should be explosive and hopefully make the jump from good to great.

I think if we can beat the Bucs (which I expect) it'll springboard us like you're saying. I think Ricky's return will give the team an emotional lift as well as a physical one.

fianl score 21-20 we win

I think you short changed our D a little bit. THey will probably score a TD and force a turnover in the redzone. score should be more like 28 - 13.

but like you said the most important part WE WIN.

wooooohooooo go phins.........

i see it clearly ... the hype that ricky is making around the league will make opposing players always think about ricky, so basically teams will have another good player to worry much about... so i imagine that our receivers will benefit from this cause all of them will get single coverage and we could got deep lots of times.... and man!! the safeties will have a hard time always thinking about them screen passes or/and covering chis chambers, mcmike, booker or even welker....

and what about them reverses....

DAMN..am drooling.

I am super hyped! Im inviting over some friends to watch the game about 50/50 bucs and phin fans ... should be awesome!

I think if we win the national media will be all over us again with the "we are a playoff team" stuff...

Lets all keep our poise as fans and not get caught up in the hype.... Lets enjoy the game and hopefully a win, but, lets not forget our losses.... Its a marathon.. Lets make it to the end!

Well said...

this week is key... we have shown we can beat good teams with playoff aspirations at home, so KC doesnt really worry me much... at saints should be a laugher as longg as we play disciplined... we can have a chance to be 5-2. at the very least 4-3 which isnt even all that bad...

I think we have been red hot. I know that we dont have all wins, but you also have to look at the 2 losses that we have had. Both were very very bad games for the fins yet, in each game we had a chance to win in the last drive. That tells you something about how good this team really is.

If we can just cut down on the stupid mistakes and dumb penalties then I really think we are going to be in the playoffs and the AFC east champs. Just somehow these guys have to get their act together and get it done.

from two good RBs like Brown and Williams thats not much at all, that would only be 75 yards rushing from each of them

WELL HOPEFULLY THE "GASSERS" ARE KEY. Self imposed discipline, you have to like that.

I do.....honestly, I like alot of what I have heard out of this Coaching Staff and the Team themselves.

I do think we will start seeing results to reinforce what he are currently hearing.

Saban is a pleasure....the future is bright  !!
