Another under-the-radar draft prospect who teams could be jockeying for is tight end Eric Ebron. The North Carolina product has the ability to be a top-10 pick, in the estimation of several front-office men.

But he might slip past the top 10 because some teams don't want to take a tight end that high. So the word going around is teams in the low teens or even high 20s could make a move for Ebron if he slides a bit. Candidates to move up for him are the Jets, Dolphins, Cardinals and Packers.

IMO if we could move up enough to get Ebron it would be great but we dont have enough firepower without giving up our 19th and our 2nd rd pick , which we need badly , But i would love to get Ebron he would be an Elete TE in this league for us for a long time .

I think this comes back to what Futurescout said, this 1st round is probably going to be wild with loads of trades. Don't see us trading up given we have too many needs.

No thanks,Niklas is who i would target he has only played pos. for 3 years,he is bigger red zone target at almost 2.5 ihches taller and by far a better blocker. Ebron is RUMORED i dont know to be a me first player.

The dolphins can fill the RT spot with the June 1st releases, and then trade up.

Moving the draft to May was a ****ing stupid idea.

No way would I do it. From what I have seen, Ebron looks like a matchup problem for defenses, but he has average hands, he doesn't have a huge catch radius, and he isn't great at breaking tackles . He doesn't offer much different a skill set from Charles Clay. Ebron's value to Miami is he would be another matchup chess piece for their offense, but I feel the Dolphins have so many needs that there is no way I would trade away picks in order to move up for Ebron. I am not even sure I would want Miami to draft Ebron at 19 if they had offers to move down.

I really like Ebron and would love to see him drafted if he fell to 19, but I hope they don't give up a pick of value to move up to grab him....Niklas and ASJ could both be there in the second...

I'd love to draft a playmaking TE but we need every pick we have. No way should we trade up. If anything we should move down and get an extra pick

Any attempt to move up in the Draft we will give up picks. We need to draft at least 2 good O-linemen - we cannot afford to give up picks for the luxury of Ebron - ain't going to happen.
The team that is best placed to do this is a team like NY Jets. They have 12 Draft picks. But it would be surprising to see the frugal GM, Idzik splurge like a drunken sailor. More likely that having acquired the picks, he will trade some for picks next year, in the same way Belichick operated for many years.
