They should be. If we click on offense like we can and our D just plays half decent, we are the best team in the NFL.

Wow, that is strange to say as a Dolphins fan lol, but I love it!

It's arguable but just the fact that it is plausible is a great feeling. This has been the best it has felt to be a Dolphins fan to me ever.

I think any team is to be feared leading into the playoffs. Upsets are common in this league. Eagle fans are a ****y bunch especially this year. They are clueless about the schedule they were granted, yes you have to win the games but I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anything easier. SF is the team to beat in the NFC and everyone knows it. So do the Eagles

I can't see anyone being afraid of Miami's defense!
Agreed
There are some here who are a little disillusioned and think we are fine with the unit
But the D does stand in our way right now to becoming a very special team
Can it all of a sudden be fixed 10 games in? That’s a tall order

I can't see anyone being afraid of Miami's defense!

If Miami could get Jones back, or find another corner that can play solid In coverage, while hopefully this bye has allowed X to heal up a bit, maybe they should.

The trade of Chubbs did a lot to help Miami's pass-rush consistency, get a bit better of coverage for at least an extra second, and offenses might not feel so comfortable allowing their QB try to test our secondary as much.

I know this is not a popular opinion, but let's see how this offense performs in a game under 50 degrees. An offense that typically relies on the pass to win, especially with a QB who does not have the strongest of arms, will face difficulty in harsh, cold January winds in Buffalo or KC. Unless the Chiefs have an unexpected collapse and Miami beats the Bills in Buffalo, the Fins will have to win on the road in the playoffs.

Add to that the defense's performances on the road this year and there are Dolphin questions. As mentioned in this thread though, the addition of Chubb and hopeful addition of Jones back to the line up would definitely help quite a bit.

You cold weather doom and gloom fans lol .. news flash Bills didn`t look to good themselves in cold weather games last year . If it`s snowing ,both teams are at the same disadvantage . In the wind and rain how did the bills fair against the pats last year ? If it`s cold all`s the QB has to do is keep his hands warm . You guys act like the Bills and Chiefs play in **** weather all the time and they don`t .

Lol

You forget, Only Tua is effected by the elements. Didn't you get the memo.

I would say the Dolphins, but we all know what people really mean when they talk about Miami needing to prove it in the rain or snow.

I think they have already found him in Kohou. The kid's a rookie, so there will be rough spots, but he is a solid Corner, and will get better week after week.

"In the eight games that he’s played, Kohou has been on the field for 78% of the Dolphins’ defensive snaps, recording 39 tackles, five passes defensed and a forced fumble.
His play has been impressive enough that Pro Football Focus’ Marcus Mosher has ranked him as the 23rd-best cornerback in the league through the first 10 weeks of the 2022 campaign."
