Ever since the tuna and company arrived to miami, they seemed to be making all the right moves. I expected this but not this quickly!!!!!!!

These are all the moves the tuna and company have made that have or will make a difference. That i remember right off the top of my head.

QBS.....

1. The signing of pennington instantly makes the dolphins a playoff team.

Chad Henne waits in the background for his chance. He seems to have all the talent in the world including a cannon arm. And also accuracy. He has shown the opposite of beck...ENOUGH SAID...

Pat White is still a work in progress. Everybody is praising him and claiming he will be a great change of pace for the wild cat. They say he has a good arm and that he is really fast. We will see just how good he can be in the pre season. Can't wait.

TEnds..

Anthony Fasano: What can i say about this guy that hasn't been said already. This guy is on the verge of becoming a pro bowler. Another year to get in sync with both chad henne and pennington will only make him even better.

LBs..

Akin Ayodele: Although not a superstar he did a decent job last year.

WRs..

Devon Bess: One of the best adquisisions the phins made last year. A free agent who nobody gave a chance. He seemed to be wide open all the time and made defenses pay over and over. He is quick and what impressed me the most were his hands and how strong he is....At times he took defenders for a ride for an extra 7 or 8 yard gain.

OL....

Jake Long: What can i say about the first pick overall in the draft. He made the pro bowl his first year. I think he makes the pro bowl for the next decade barrying injury.

Justin smilley: Instant upgrade over whoever we had at the right guard position. He was missed at the end of the year especially in the playoffs.

Donald Thomas: Draftee with a lot of potential. He was doing outstanding in pre season untill the season started....Injured on the first game of the season dampered his progress. He is 100 percent this year and ready to have a break out season.

DTs..

Jason ferguson: We were the worst team stopping the run the year before. That is until ferguson arrived in miami. ENOUGH SAID.

DL..

Phillip Merling and kendall Lankford: Both showed a lot of promise and will be part of this team for a long time. Hopefully they will improve their pass rushing abilities and get to the next level this year.

Randy Starks: This guy played well last year. Int on that new england game which is rare for a DE and a couple of batted passes forcing ints make randy a keeper. His problem with the law won't keep him from making this team once again.

Kicker..

Dan Carpenter: This management were smart enough to give him a shot. .....................OUTSTANDING MOVE..............

Now ADD all this to............(( player which i think will make an impact ))

1. They bring back Jason Taylor. UPGRADE
2.Resign Channing crowder.
3.Resign Jeremiah Bell
4.Sign gibril Wilson
5.Sign Jake grove
6. Sign Joe Berger

Draftees who i belive will make an impact sooner than expected...

1.Vontae Davis
2.Sean Smith
3.Patrick turner

In other words the trio have made all the right moves so far. And they continue on the right track. All this adds up to an even more improved team in 2009 and yet another playof berth.

Who cares if our opponents are better this year...So are We!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO PHINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rimshot::rimshot::rimshot:

short & sweet, broken up easy to ready, little on homerism & baseless projections, great work!

Amen brother. How can all these Dolphans be picking the Phins to go 8-8???

This team is improved all over the place and there is depth everywhere except ILB.

Go Dolphins 12-4 AFC champions.

well, i am one of those who think the fins are going to finish anywhere between 8-8 or 10-6

this being said, i also firmly believe that with the difficult schedule ahead for our division, a 10 win (or more) team in the AFCE next year is guaranteed to win the division (IMO) so i'm pretty optimistic

One thing that impressed me a lot was what they did with Camarillo. Instead of automatically tossing out anyone they didn't have to keep from the old regime, they found a diamond in the rough that was already on the roster and made him into a star.

I don't know, I'm going to be sceptical until the season begins. Look at the browns and saints. They both had great years, made improvements in the off season and then they became disappointments. I am expecting a season between 8-8 to 10-6.

Well said and great read. Turner is my pick as of the most the success out of the three, but the others will good as well. What is your guys thoughts on TGJ, Ronnie, and Ricky TGJ being that it is his third year and usually thats like a mark point for players as of skill, Ronnie being it is his 2nd year off the injury, which to what experts say the 2nd year when a players fully recovered when last year i honesty could not even tell he was injured a year ago. Then Ricky not much talk about good ole ricky. i know he will not get as much playing time as ronnie and that is how it should be, but i think Ricky will do a lot more with what he has this year. One he now put another nfl year under his belt to use the system once again, Two a better o-line always helps the running game, and going from a starter then coming back to be a back up is always a big pill for players to swallowed and did a great job last year and this year will do the same or better.

Camarillo is great. i hope he has the same success that ronnie had

1st, nice post.
2nd, I think this year what I am waiting to see the most improvement is the following:

1.QB Pressure, toward the ends of last season when teams were doubling tripling JP, our pass rush became non existent at times.

2.DB-While this goes hand in hand with above, can these guys compete with the AFC East Elite WR's.

3.WR's- Can last years guys (Ginn,Bess, Cam) take the next step in evolving their game? Will the Turner draft pick pay off. (I would love this personally to throw this back in the face of some of the Draft "Experts")

4.RB's-They were above average last year to great in some games. Are they the real deal? or do we need to go RB shopping next offseason?
Chubbs

I believe Both ronnie and Ted Ginn will have breakout years. Ronnie is 100 percent healthy and its just a feeling in my gut ted ginn will be outstanding this year. Third year is the charm they say. And ted showed flashes of brilliance in 08.

As far as ricky goes, i believe he will continue to get his carries. Although i see roniie having the mayority of the carries. I truly believe its going to be RB by comittee again. Everybody getting their carries and that way everyone keeps fresh.

I mean we have three great RBs who showed they can get it done in cruch time last year. And now we have pat white who will probably be used as a RB/wildcat/QB.................Just keeps everybody fresh and the chances of injuries are less.

As for Pat White. I have a play in mind that will knock them dead.:chuckle: Ok Pat White is on direct snap gets the ball tosses it back to ronnie or who ever that will get it done then pat run as fast as possible making defenses put their eyes on pat white and then giving ronnie WR open or pat white himself. hope they will save that for a patriots game or the PITT game.:woot:

You can triple team one player but not two. Either JT or JP will have a clear shot at the QB. One of them is going to be one on one.

Somewhere in there there will be a mismatch.

I believe the "quick" progress of our defensive backfield will determine our fate early on coupled on well Lnakford and Merling can pressure the passer! Yes we have improved but we have holes to fill and how quickly they are filled is the key.
