Attetion all FH users and other Phins fans around the globe, I have an Important announcment..........

The Miami Dolphins are keeping Chris Chambers!!!!! We are not tradeing him or releasing him!!!!!!!!!

Reasons:
1, He had a fantastic PRO BOWL year 2 seasons ago, yes i understand the NFL is "wut have u done for me lately" but really ppl u cant honestly want CC's head after this season.

2, The guy goes through 3 dif QB's his 4th OC in 4 years, and the hole offense practically slumped because of MM!!!!

3, I understand the stat about him having the most balls thrown his way but i really dont remeber us playing him to his strong point which is in the slot, i Kno Wess plays thier but i want CC to put up insane numbers like he did 2 seasons ago!

4, Yes some of u will argue over this and that...blah blah blah, but the plain truth is ever sense his rookie season CC has been a player and a playmaker! Some of u forget that Cam Camerion gets the most out of all of his skill position talented players in his offenseive shceme. He manages games to his offense strengths.

5,Chris will have an outrageous year, this next season and it will be because of Camerons Offense, Daunts arm, and the want for a SB.

I really cant belive all the talk about trading him, all your comments wear positive after 05-06 season about CC and they will be again next year!!!!

OK let me have it comments, Questions, Hates, Agreements, Disagreements?????????

Great post, I couldn't more. Cant wait so see the player CC in the coach CC's offense.

Now if he could only stop dropping the deep ones that would be great!!! Chambers can be a great receiver in a good system but he needs to get separation and catch the ball when it hits his hands...Great receivers do it all the time. If he wants to be great thats what he has to do... He has the tools

I love this forum for the most part but it's stuff like this that just reall annoys me. Who cares if he missed a few gramatical errors, the point is it is very readable and he is showing support for his team.

Great post dude, I am the biggest Chambers fan there is and I too can't wait to see him explode in 2007.

You mentioned MM being a big factor in Chambers decline in 2006. One interesting thing I choose to look at is Lee Evans and Chris Chambers comparsions over the 2005 and 2006 seasons. Now Chris and Lee are very much alike. Both players play bigger than they are, have pretty good speed and are AWESOME deep threats. Evans had a slow year in 2005 because MM wasn't able to utilize him to his abilities. In 2005 Chambers had a monster year under the excellent coaching of Scott Linehan. Now flip the script and give Chambers Mularky while taking MM away from Evans. Evans has a big year catching a lot of deep balls making big plays. Chambers has just one catch of over 40 yards and struggles to get freed up down the field. I think we can place a lot of blame of MM.

That's just my 2 cents.

I agree we will keep chambers, I not a big fan of his, but the cap hit would be big to cut him and wouldnt get alot in a trade so might as well see if he can bounce back. He is still a lot better then some of the other options floated around out here. Yes that would be moss or TO or even porter, thoose first two are not great guys to have on improving teams and I dont think any of the teams that are winning would even consider them

So we're going to keep him to have the most expensive slot receiver in 2007? Great. :shakeno:

The guy only had ONE HALF good season and you people are ready to crown him.

We aren't trading our WR that was just in the pro bowl in 05.
Can't wait to see what he does in Cam's offense.

He wouldn't be much of a factor. San Diego's best receiver is Keenan McCardell, and that guy is way past his prime, but I would still rather have him than Chambers.

The ones that are benefiting from Cam is Ronnie Brown and Randy McMichael.

Yeah Cam likes using his runningbacks and tight ends more.
But i'm still curious to see how Chambers would do in his system.
Yeah McCardell was past his prime.
I could of sworn they used Jackson more this year when i saw charger games.

Do you think this is because his system, or because the Chargers simply didn't have much talent at WR? Vincent Jackson had a pretty good year out of the slot last year for the Chargers.

impresive post if that is true i'm glad cam is gonna call the plays from now on

We are trading CC. We are trading him because he isn't worth the money we pay him. It's BUSINESS! He' a great guy and I love the spectacular catches he makes. We just need someone who doesn't drop easy passes thrown right to them when there isn't even a defender close to them. This offense needs an overhaul, and we need another 2nd round pick to get a stud OL or Bryan Leonard or Michael Bush or Drew Stanton. Chris Chambers and our 4th or 6th will get us that pick. Besides we are drafting Ginn with the 9th pick anyway.
