The Dolphins are no longer using Ted Ginn Jr. on kickoff returns

Does this team like not want Ginn to succeed as a pro or something. I swear theres news alot about them denouncing Ginn. Why would you put him as a backup to something he is best at. Doesnt make any sense to me whatsoever

because they see his potential at receiver. If he just focuses on receiver for the time being it will only help him become a better receiver and getting a rhythm down with Pennington.

i love parcells draft picks and trades but i hate his free agent signings and some of his decisions. how ginn is not starting on kick returns is mind boggling.andthey have 2 start ronnie brown as soon asd possible.

IMO Ginn should be doing punts and kickoffs. He's a threat to take it to the house every time, and even if he doesn't he'll have some great returns that will get the team fired up. That in turn will help his confidence running routes and catching passes, which is sorely needed because he didn't look too confident last Sunday.

Field position is everything for this team, another reason Ginn should and could be returning everything.

What is the down side to letting him return kickoffs as well? Injury? Lack of focus on WR duties? To me that's BS. It's the NFL, anybody could get injured an any time. As for WR duties, again I think he'll be more confident after breaking a couple, and therefore be a better WR for it.

If the rookie Royal can do it, why can't Ginn?

Ginn should be returning KO's as well. I mean teams can't kick those out of bounds. Since he isn't getting the touches in the passing game he needs to make up for it returning kick offs and punts. Guy can be a game changer and Miami is putting one of it's only game changers on offense on the bench. This is crazy and hope it changes, honestly I don't care about #9 pick but he has to be on the field as much as possible and only returning punts is dumb.

Not for nothin, but Bess looked good returning punts and kicks during week 1, while Ginn seems to have the same jitters at the beginning of this year as he did returning kicks and punts last year.

Why didnt he catch the punt at the 50 instead of letting it bounce back to the 38.. All he had to do was call a fair catch

davone bess is explosive on returns, might be a better option consistently

Maybe the coaching staff wants to use Bess in that role, because he is better at it, or at least they think hes better. The Ginn pick was a reach the only place in the world that thinks it wasnt is here at finheaven.com.

Very dissapointing. His return ability is special and he can be one of the best in the NFL. Take returns away and he is just another guy playing receiver that is fast.
