trade down to acquire MORE picks. We cant AFFORD to sign the #1 pick in the draft. Heck, I wouldnt want to fork over that rookie salary and signing bonus to a kid who hasnt played a snap in the NFL.

QB would be nice, but it's obvious that Mike Williams is the best talent comming out of the draft right now. I don't think Booker or Boston can get it done anymore. Maybe i'm wrong. There will be some big OL free agents next year, we just have to fork out the money to get them unlike what happened this year hence John Tait, Damien Woody. Those guys slipped right through our fingers.

How are we supposed to sign MIKE WILLIAMS, the first pick in the draft, a premiere Olineman, and a QB/RB???

Theres this cool thing called a salary cap. Hence why we NEED to trade down in the draft to acquire more picks and save cash. We cant afford the #1 pick in the draft with ALL the needs and problems we have.

We are by no means guaranteed the 1st pick - we have to play against the Cards for example.

there will be money available next year. Bowens has pretty much seen his last days and Seau won't be back next year. Time to start putting some of the team salary on the Offensive side. Weather is OL,QB

We should be close to 20 mil under to be honest with you but we need to get a QB like David Greene or Kyle Orton and draft that DT from Wiscosin and as far as Ol the LT winston from Miami and the LT from FSU both are 1st rounders.The RB class is more than 10 deep.Williams-Auburn,Benson-Texas,Harris-WVU,
Arrington-Cal,Moats-LTU,Fason-UF,Davis-Wisconsin,Sproles-KSU,Weaks-UVA,
Brown-Auburn and there is more out there so we could get quality after the 1st round cause how many teams in the league will be going RB with their 1st pick?
