The Dolphins are very close to the roster limit...

So any new players signed will likely cause a ripple on the current roster and guys will get cut. If you add additional players who do you cut that is on the roster right now? Here is my short list:

LeJuene S
Russell WR
Thompson OL only keep him if he is roster exemption from NFLE (currently on injured list)
Labinjo LB
Brown WR (didn't make NFLE roster)
Willis WR
Shaw DL (yeah, again)

I am sure there are others, but these are the beginning. (Teyo Johnson may be closer to this list on the team's mind than we realize)

CJ brooks and sideeq have more upside than anyone mentionned on the few posts here

They are not going to cut NFL Europe guys...

Because they can keep them on the roster throught the last preseason game as roster exemptions. Those guys will be there through the end of camp unless injury occurs like with Thompson OL.

With Toledo playing at guard it appears CJ brooks time with us may be limited....

Brown is a receiver from Southern University...

He was assigned to NFL Europe, but apparently didn't make any team.

Sideeq Shabazz has been doing good and will at least have a good chance of making the team because of special teams...Sinclair has also played well in Europe...
 
Sinclair will be the next player to make it big in the NFL after playing in Europe
 
Saban will never stop tinkering with the bottom half of the roster to improve the depth at ALL positions. He stated multiple times that it isn't the top 40 % that wins the SB, its the bottom 60% ....

At some point there is a trade off between age and potential, but we aren't in the position of sacrificing age and experience for youth and potential yet.

Having Traylor and Zgonina skew our average age .. and doesn't truly reflect how relatively 'young' our team really is !
