QB , a good pass rusher at OLB on the other side of Wake, playmaker in the secondary at safety. A ball hawk in the secondary in general. O-linemen at LG, RG and RT,, a seam busting TE with some speed and great hands, and an ILB.
The Dolphins need to stop looking at the lunch pail types and the athlete types and get guys who are "instinctual". You look on this team and the Dolphins have very few players who are truly good at instinctual football. That's why this defense cannot create any turnovers for 2 years now. That's why you scratch your head so often when Brandon Marshall makes so many mental mistakes -- and he's supposed to be Miami's best skill player offensively.
It has little to do with talent but the teams Miami lost to already have more instincts and better (and more) instinctual players. Miami is near the bottom of the league in this very critical department (that no one talks about). And that's why nothing can be done about the mistakes the Dolphins make in every game shooting themselves in the foot. this is because they're going up against teams with more instinctual players.
People always say "well if we didn't make this mistake, and that mistake, and if we did this and that instead, we'd win this game today". That's just BS and excuse making baloney.
Because, the truth is, bad football teams make a lot of mistakes. That's why they're bad football teams. And the Dolphins are a bad football team. So expect all these mistakes to continue, and probably get worse and more frequent as the season moves along while these players quit.
The Dolphins are a poorly coached team. And the team is poorly constructed. Thus this horrible season we'll witness and a Top 5 pick in the 2012 draft
