The Dolphins Biggest Positional Need?

I am 100% serious.

I feel we can win with our current WR's, DL, and RB's. We obviously need to upgrade QB, 3 OL positions, get a pass rusher opposite Wake, add a reliable corner and safety, and add another TE to go with Fasano.

We have some decent players at those positions, but they still need upgrades. I'm not sold on Hartline as a No. 2 WR. Our DL is getting no pressure, and while Thomas has shown some good running skills, we need a true No. 2 RB and someone we can use in short yardage situations. So yes, we still need upgrades imo.

I see your point. I guess i'm looking at this as what is realistic over 1 offseason, maybe 2. Every team in the NFL has positions of weakness. That is the beauty of NFL's salary cap structure.

I just said in antoher thread that we over-estimate the talent level of some of our guys, but I am starting to really believe Hartline is a pretty darn good WR. Maybe it was just those two awesome catches he made in the last couple games. But we may be set at WR, would like to see Gates get deep though.

Biggest need is QB
We need LG, RG and RT
Another TE
Pass rusher opposite Wake
1 more corner
At least 1 safety, maybe 2

Stud coach that can put it all together and win!

Nuff said!

The easier question would be what positions are we set at, and that would be LT, C, and P. Everything else needs to be upgraded.

I agree with LT and P, way too earky to say C. many people thought the same with Satale a few years ago

We may not have a elite QB but saying that is our biggest problem right now is silly. Say what you want but only one of those int's can realistically be 100% on him, and at least 2 TD's should be caught. Correct those and he is in the top 8 in the league.

QB is not our "biggest" positional problem by a long shot, every answer given should be on the defensive side of the ball first. A second goes to the offensive line.

BIGGEST positional need????............lies in the chest of every person on the coaching staff of this team!!! They need mile of heart and then transfer that to the players and start playing with some passion and get in other teams faces!!!!!

a QB who can throw td's in the red zone.

a QB who makes the big play instead of the int or incompletion.

but over all, i would have to say......... QB!!
