The Dolphins could host the AFC Championship...

Now, I know this is getting WAY ahead of things, but did anyone else realize that the Dolphins have a real shot of hosting the AFC Championship in Miami?

Now, Miami needs to obviously win - beat the Ravens and beat the Steelers. It's very hard to beat a team twice in one season. If the Dolphins go to Pittsburgh, they will be facing a QB coming off a major concussion and Joey Porter will be out for revenge.

Remember - the Steelers cut him because they thought another guy was a lot better than he was. Porter wants to prove them wrong.

If the Dolphins take care of business, there is a real shot of the Colts knocking off the Chargers and then the Titans. It can easily happen.

That would set up the Colts for Dolphins in Miami for the AFC Championship.

How sweet would that be?
 
I don't think we make it out of the 1st round, but a hell of a season either way.
 
I was talking about that with my friends last night after the game. And i asked them this question. Would you rather play the Titans at Tenn or the Colts here at home?

Personally, I would rather play at Tennessee than play the Colts at home. I just don't think we could stop Peyton.
 
Normally I'd say no way, but so far this team has proven me and the majority of otrher people wrong so far. So you never know. It would be pretty sweet.

Also, if San Diego makes a miracle run past Indianapolis and Tennessee that game would be played in Miami.

Then again, they have to beat the Ravens first.
 
I believe in this team. I believe in the coaches and the players. I believe you don't want to play the Dolphins right now. Don't fear the other teams... they should be fearful of us.
 
I think the Colts will be in the AFC Championship Game. They came very close to beating the Titans early in the season, before the light turned on for Peyton.

If we do beat the Ravens and Steelers, the Colts are the team I would least like to face. The Chargers would be the preferred opponent, but I doubt it happens.
 
If the colts or chargers beat Tennessee and we beat the ravens and steelers we will host the AFC Championship.

I say lets not think about that just yet and focus on Baltimore!!!
 
Chargers are hot right now. I could see them making it through to the AFC Title game.

A rematch of the 81 playoff game would be sweet.
 
Really.. the only team that scares me is the ravens I don't know why maybe because thats our next opponent idk. But they scare me more than any of the others. If we get past them we might have a chance.
 
The 1981 Divisional Playoff Game pitted the San Diego Chargers against the Miami Dolphins.

THIS WOULD BE ONE OF THOSE ULTIMATE REVENGE GAMES! In fact...Baltimore is a revenge game, and the Steelers would be a revenge game, too!

Wow...if this scenario plays out...well...it gives me the chill bumps!
