The Dolphins have a storied history.

The franchise is over 40 years old, and has had its ups and downs.

Who can forget such legendary players as Bob Griese and Larry Csonka. Then there was Nick Buoniconti, who went on to host Inside the NFL for many years.

A little later, they had the only undefeated season in NFL history. That stands to this day.

The bedrock of the Miami Dolphins is of course the legendary coach Don Shula. He guided the team for decades and still holds the NFL record for most wins as a coach.

Miami has been home to some great talents, but none better than Dan Marino. He changed the very position of quarterback with his quick release.

The Dolphins have been a consistently good team since their inception, and the Miami Dolphins logo is virtually synonymous with the National Football League.

With all that said, I still think Trent Edwards lights them up on Sunday.

Kind words. Unfortunately, with no smack talking intended, all I can remember as far the Bills go is OJ Simpson and 0-4 on Superbowls. I was a big fan of Bruce Smith when he played, was fun watching him and Richmond Webb go at it......

Well, you must understand that this is a new era for the Bills.

It's the Edwards era.

Be prepared for over a decade of outstanding football from the Bills.

I lobbied hard for Edwards last year but Mueller would not listen.

You had four chances to take him. Don't feel bad, the Bills passed up on him twice!

I got blasted over and over on my feelings about Edwards. here is something I posted after the draft

You obviously have the wrong guy. My favorite Qb in this draft was Trent Edwards, and I hate Notre Dame so overrated. I am stating that nobody had Beck rated over Quinn even us. If someone says something inaccurate or something I don't agree with I will state that on that subject. I got into a discussion with Boomer when he said that Quinn was perfect for our so called system while Jamarcus Russel was not a good fit. I just don't think saying that we are so brilliant and that every player we draft draft is going to be good as a sensible approach to looking at my team. Every team has scouts and excellent football minds making thier decisions for the most part and to think that our staff is so much more brilliant in thier analysis than everyone else is a pure pipe dream. I just see alot of silly statements like we obviously liked BEck better than Quinn when Ginn was the player we were so giddy with. If we were as enamoured with Beck as some think we were then why did we take a faily big chance on losing him. If we had taken Trent Edwards or Kevin Kolb we would have got many of the same justifications that we have heard of beck just spun a little differant. i'm not a member of the Brady Quinn manlove society in any way shape or form but I think he was a better football prospect for the NFL. To have an opinion that quinn is a better prospect than Beck of which there are more people that had Quinn rated higher, does that make him my favorite plaer, geesh. Sporting News was the only source I know of that had Beck higher than Quinn but they had Kolb rated higher than Beck also. Matt Moore thier 5th rated Qb was not even drafted so who knows how good thier rankings were. I love the fact that Quinn was not drafted until 22 is an indicator of him being that good but for Beck going 18 picks after him does not speak of his value. i don't think either is really an indicator because every team will not draft a Qb based on what they have on thier roster. Then the myth that our Qb's coach determined that we did not take Quinn, nobody knows that and I'm sure everybody thought leinhart would be a good QB even though his ex coordinator was on a team that took another player over him. So by your logic 21 teams did not like Quinn so if every team passed on a chance to take Beck does that make Beck worse.

I think Beck will be ok, would have preferred waiting and drafting Edwards

And from my mock draft

2B- Trent Edwards QB (Stan) My favorite QB in the draft who did not have the advantage of actually having a division 1 team around him.

Aren't they a Canadian League team.

I hate the bills for getting the next Brady! Why not us!

we may have a very good one in Henne. I have no problem with him. I do feel bad we wasted a second rounder on beck which forced us to draft another qb this year.

after we beat the ***** as bills u will be brought to reality and u will know trent edwards and the buffalo ***** *** bills will always be miamis little bithces. go tell that sorry franchise to try to win a s uper bowl. F the bills. hahahaha

Please, don't insult Trent.

Trent is going to be much better than Brady.

If you're going to compare him to anyone, compare him to Joe Montana.

wow just wow lol

Well on this board John Beck is supposed to be the next Steve Young lol.
