The Dolphins have expressed interest in free agent S Chris Clemons.

Clemons was a surprise cut by Houston last week. With Reshad Jones suspended the first four games, he could be brought back as veteran depth behind Jimmy Wilson. Miami likely won't consider signing Clemons until after Week 1 to avoid having to pay him a guaranteed salary.

Curious where his head will be at after we parted ways with him. Hope if we do bring him back he's professional about it.
 
Everyone could see this coming. I'd have signed him by now though and guaranteed his salary. Would have smoothed over any hurt feelings and it's not a large salary.

He always seemed like a class act to be honest, he wasn't the best football player, but I always thought he played hard and tried his best. Honestly, he is an immense upgrade over Jimmy Wilson at safety.
 
I'm sure there are a few teams looking at doing the same...and with the impending league drug policy revision and potential suspension terminations, I'm gonna guess we don't sign him.
 
Bring him in as soon as possible. Such a better option than Wilson. Can back up either spot as well
 
After Wilson faces Brady on Sunday people are probably gonna wish Clemons had already been signed.
