Leave it to the idiot to prioritize a position that we don't need to prioritize.

So it’s notable that when NFL Network analyst and former Redskins and Texans general manager Charley Casserly spoke to Dolphins officials this offseason, they identified two primary draft needs to him: linebacker and cornerback.

Yes, cornerback, a position where Miami has invested a 2016 second-round pick on Xavien Howard and a 2017 third-round pick on Cordrea Tankersley. A position where they have a slot cornerback (Bobby McCain) who they insist they really, really like. A position where Tony Lippett is returning from an Achilles injury that wiped out his 2017 season after he intercepted four passes and displayed considerable growth a year earlier.

Deep class. I'd draft one. Would be really nice if J Jackson dropped to our 2nd rounder.

There's gonna be some real good corners from this class and the fins are an injury away from being thin at the position ... if you're sold on Howard and Tank/Lippett as starters.

Will be disappointed if they don't come away with a corner and FS from this class. Coming away with Edmunds - Jackson - Elliott in the first three rounds would be a nice haul.

I like the MJ kid from UNC. He could come in and challenge for nickel immediately and potentially grow into an outside role in a few years. He’s a steal in R4

DB maybe but not CB....not in the early rounds anyway. Fitzpatrick would be a versatile chess piece who could play FS and also sub at any spot in the secondary should an injury occur. Jones, McD and Fitz would give Burke a lot of options.
