I for one am glad were talking about him. When I brought him up a few weeks ago it was 50/50 some like him others think hes garbage. I think only him and Nate Washington are worth bringing in.

Per Rotoworld:

The Miami Herald reports the Dolphins have "(internally discussed)" free agent Cecil Shorts.
Cleaning house at receiver, the Dolphins would be buying low on a player who appeared on the verge of exploding in 2012. Per reporter Barry Jackson, the Dolphins like what Shorts brings after the catch. According to Pro Football Focus, Shorts averaged 5.1 yards after the catch in 2014, a nice number. Recently released Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson offered nothing after the catch.

i like what Justin Hardy could bring after the catch!!!

I'll take him on a one year "prove it" deal. He can play when he's healthy, I want Davante Parker at 14 regardless.

If he's so good, why hasn't Jax locked him up? They have a promising young QB and they want to surround him with better weapons.

I like Shorts, think he fits the offense well. If you can get him for $3M or less prove it deal I'd probably try to fit him in, but wouldn't try that hard.

He's injury prone and they're stacked with great youth.

he was hurt most of the year... and they have like 3 rookies last year that have a lot of potential... Blackmon??? any word on him coming back or not???

***** i just looked it up, Justin Blackmon i guess as of 2/20/15 he hasnt applied to be reinstated yet back into the NFL... but the Jaguars do want him back and are hoping to get it resolved by the draft.

otherwise JAX has guys like Marquise Lee, Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns, Tommy Streeter and Ace Sanders.... mad young guys

Shorts wants to go to Cleveland being how he's from there. I read it in a B/R article, so take it for what u will.

Add Blackmon too that which seems to be the likely out come and that's scary upside through the top 4.

ESPN Cleveland doesn't expect the Browns to sign free agent WR Cecil Shorts.
Shorts has been previously linked to Cleveland, but the Browns are believed to be higher on Brian Hartline. A declining talent with a history of soft-tissue injuries, Shorts could struggle for guaranteed money beyond 2015. Shorts is Rotoworld's No. 8 available wideout.

He ended 2011 with a hamstring inj. 2012 ended on IR with concussion. 2013 cut short due to sports hernia. Missed the first 2 games last year because of a lingering hamstring inj. He's never played a full season in his 5 year pro career. He's inj prone and rarely scores td's. The best teams are those that build through the draft. We are terrible in FA. Grimes worked out but what about Wallace, Gibson, Keller, Moreno, Wheeler, Ellerbe, Finnegan. I'd rather we miss the playoffs while developing players than miss the playoffs w/ injury prone has-beens like we do. When will the Dolphins learn?

Why is mike wallace in that list and I like how you didn't include albert.

We are trying to get rid of Wallace after 2 seasons. He held himself out of week 17 last year because he has a poor attitude. I didn't really figure at this point mentioning that we should never signed Wallace was necessary. I figured it was just a given.
Albert didn't make it through the whole season and until he gets back on the field no one knows how good he will be. I didn't include Albert because that one is still up in the air. He was playing great before he got hurt.

Shorts could basically take a deal like Moreno did last year and gamble on himself...... I would like to sign him to a 1 year 2 million dollar deal.

Wallace/Landry/Shorts/Matthews/Hazel could be a interesting core that i wouldn't mind at all.

Davante Parker hasn't stayed healthy in college. What makes you think that would change in the pros?
