I choose not to talk about Parcell's future because i am still holding my breath on it and i hope he stays until this team gets a ring.

You have to start at the head of the team, Coach Sparano. This season, he has shown that he is still a new guy at the head coach position. He has made some coaching mistakes during crucial parts in some games this season but thats part of learning. But the one thing that stands out to me is that under Sparano, this team is 5-0 in December and for any team, that is impressive.

Now, something i have never experienced as being so young, is to see impressive quarterback play. Ive only been watching the phins since 2002 and needless to say, QB's have never been a strong point on the phins since then. But watching Chad Henne, i just am so very hopeful he continues to play as he has been. I just cant imagine what this guy will be like with an elite WR. When that time comes, this team will be contenders for sure.

To the backfield, as much as i want to re-sign ronnie, i just dont think he deserves the BIG contract. I say, ricky will be here next year, and draft a young guy that can learn from ricky. That will end the wildcat era, which makes me happy in the sense that when the phins win, there will be no more whinning about the wildcat being a gimmick and thats the only reason the phins win, *cough* JETS *cough*.

And the O-line, this is easily the best offensive line that ive seen the phins have since ive watched and it they will be this way for years to come, add some depth and that could be the best in the league.

Now to the defense, and starting with the d-line. everyone knows that we need a GREAT NT, not an average one. but besides that, maybe add some depth, but this d-line is great.

To the LB's, to me, this LB core as a whole, is the worst since ive been watching, especially the ILB's. We possibly have our young guys at OLB, with anderson and wake, but obtaining ILB's this off-season is a must, not only starters.

And lastly, the secondary, this has been the dolphins weakness of the past few seasons, and finally there is hope with the two rookie CB's in Vontae and Sean Smith. One mistake that people often make is that if a defense is being shredded through the pass game, is that it is all the CB's fault. And that is wrong, look at the Steelers, with polamalu out, their secondary is awful. The point im trying to make is that Gibril Wilson is terrible in coverage and every team knows it. Sit him now and play Clemons to see if we need a FS in the draft or not. Bell is playing like he does and he is a run help SS. So cant complain there.

All in all, the future looks bright, just fill in some empty spaces and this team will be alright.

oh yea, dan henning needs to get out. sorry, but he has killed numerous drives this season.

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. People need to look at the bigger picture around here, next year we'll be good.. Real good.

Draft Rolando McClain with 1st rd and build around him. We have our 3-4 ends, have a average but getting better NT, may have a FS in Clemons. We have to get some ILB on OLB depth its a must this offseason.

I do not care about his mistakes managing a game (at least for two more years). Sparano has brought us the following:

  • An innovative offense that maximizes the ability of our offensive players. Just not being boring is a good thing after years of yawning.
  • Development of players on the roster. Roth actually contributed last year. Bess and Wake.
  • A team that competes.

The innovative offense is due to OC Dan Henning and QB Coach David Lee.

And Sparano doesnt bring in people, that is mostly BP and Ireland.

but he def has a team that competes.
