In 06' the Dolphins passed on Brees, now it may be his turn to pass on them and show em what they missed out on. I wonder if Drew will have an extra chip on his shoulder going against the Phins Sunday? After all they thought Daunte Culpepper was better? What do you guys think of this

I don't think there's anything personal between Brees and the Dolphins. Besides, Brees liked the Saints more than the Dolphins at that time, because the Saints was offering him more money than we did. We cheap'd out and went with the bum knee that had tri-ligament surgery. Anyone with any common sense of football knows you need good knees to delivery the ball well.

Saban and Mueller EXHAUSTED their efforts to get brees. They even intercepted him at the airport in Lousiana to talk to him before he met with the Saints because they knew he wouldn't leave once he met with them. We didnt have the salary cap room to pay what the Saints did at the time. Let it go my friend.
