The Dolphins will make playoffs in 08.

Ok now that I have your attention, we will make playoffs if we pick up these key players up its possible... With that said....

*I know its WAY too early and its probably not going to happen (but i'm bored & sick).

QB-J. Beck/B. Volek/M. Baker
HB-R. Brown/R. Williams/L. Booker/J. Chatman
FB- R. Mauia/B. Hoover
WR- C. Johnson (2nd Round Pick Trade)/T. Ginn/D. Hagan/D. Carter
TE-B. Troupe/F. Davis (2nd Round Pick)
OL-F. Adams/V. Carey/S. Satele/R. Clady (3rd Round Pick)/R. Hadnot

DE- J. Taylor/M. Roth
NT-G. Dorsey (1st Round pick)
OLB- J. Porter/S. Grable (4th round pick)
MLB-Z. Thomas/C. Crowder
CB-W. Allen/D. Florence/M. Ware/D. Foxworth
FS- K. Hamlin/J. Allen
SS- G. Wilson/Y. Bell
 
Thats a pretty good line-up i have this feeling john beck is going to be a pretty good quarterback in this league and some people want to judge him in less than 4 games why not judge the #1 overall pick jamarcus russell who threw like 10 INTS in 2 games. All im saying is rookie Qbs rarely do good their first season hall of famers like elway do. one of our weakest positions is WR so i really hope we get chad johnson and if not we'll have to spend a high pick on a wide out but i really dont want us to have the #1 overall we need so much help elsewhere.
 
I really don't get why we would set ourselves up for that type of disapointment.

Look I appreciate the enthusiasm, I really do, but this beyond fairy tale at this point. I'm not going to make the statement that we "will make the playoffs" until we're at a point of far less questions. When we say, "If situation X pans out, and scenario Y goes in our favor, we're playoff bound." That just doesn't make sense to me.

We are what we are. We're a 1-15 football team in rebuilding mode.

How about this for an enthusiasitc statement?

"The 2008 Dolphins will be the first year of a retooling project that includes a heavy roster change. It is a team that will improve, remain competitive, play hard, and hopefully by 2009 they're a team that can be taken seriously as a team pressing for a post-season birth."
 
And dude, Ryan Clady is a top 10 pick and a tackle, not a guard. How do you have him falling to us in the 3rd round? Also, Shawn Crable is a 2nd round/early 3rd rounder at the latest.

Like i said i know its way out there but it gives me something to do right now.

Yeah, but how much credibility to you expect to achieve when you have a top 10 prospect falling into the 3rd round?

I'm really not trying to be mean at all, I'm just trying to give you advice. It just makes people not take you seriously when you do something like that.

You never know he could fall... And being taken seriously about any roster predictions are out of the question because it is WAY TOO EARLY!!!

Yes, I do know. He's a top 10 pick. Now I could see if you were hoping for him to fall to numer 13 or something, but why would a top 10 pick slide to the 3rd round? I think he's the best tackle in the draft personally.

I think Jemarcus Russell going #1 overall was a joke. I remember he wasn't even that good in college. Certainly not compared to other qb's who went #1 overall. it was just his "cannon for an arm" thing.
