If Alex Boone had declared for last years draft, walterfootball.com had him as 1-2 prospect.

He had a rough year as you can read about at the link.

My question is; if he interviews and comes across as humble and wanting to be serious about an NFL career, do the Dolphins give him a shot.

He would be perfect for the Dolphins. He could backup LT and is an excellent prospect to start at RT. He would be a great asset to the run game.

Is he worth a pick?? How high would you go to get him??

As far as the round he is projected in, from what I have seen he has dropped quite a bit but is really all over the place on different sites.

IMO, I'd not use a pick on him, but may be worth considering as a UDFA
 
I don't know, guy could be trouble, if he has a addition to alcohol thats a bad sign. What a shame, someone with that kind of potential, and he lets drinking ruin it all. He could be humble during the interview process but if I was in the FO shoes I would be VERY on guard with someone like this.

not worth a pick? udfa? come on, he will be drafted in the mid rounds and would be a good pickup for backup tackle.

It is all a matter of opinion. You must be a relative or Buckeyes fan. :)
PFW says he is a late rounder/priority free agent.
The guy has red flags for off field issues and isn't that great a player to offset them to use a pick on him. IMO
 
He plays TERRIBLY every time I have seen him. Why take on that kind of headache when there are so many guys out there that are flatly better?

OK, Besides Joel Bell,who I think will go in the 4th, who are the better starting RT prospects in rounds 4-7 ???

Garrett Reynolds
Robert Brewster
Cornelius Lewis
IMO, I'd take any of them over Boone.
 
Vollmer looks very impressive. I would be happy to see the Dolphins draft him, but he he is probably going in the 3rd round.

The thread was more about looking at the 5th,6th,and 7th rounds. I should have stated that clearer, sorry.
