A 200 yd/game rusher like Jay Ajayi is worth far more than a 4th rounder, which by the way will be a lousy pick with the Eagles being so good this year. At least the Pats got a 2nd rounder for Garropolo from an 0-8 team.....Win for them. THIS is another LOSS for the Fins. Ridiculous! Tannenbaum is a Clownenbaum!!!!!!!

We weren't getting anywhere near a second for Jay.

Did you just compare trade value between a QB and a RB with a bad knee?????

A 200yd/game rusher? Just because he had a few games over 200 yards doesn’t make him elite. There are rbs that have never had a 200 yard game that are way better than Ajayi. Don’t be fooled by stats.

Revisit this statement at the end of the year and see if the Eagles give him a contract extension. If they don't then it is all you need to know.

You would think we would win ever game with a 200 yard a game rusher.

I'm not going to go all Pats fan and act like Ajayi sucked now that he was traded. However, if he wasn't doing what was expected of him then good riddance. I also like the idea of a versatile back as most defenses are not prepared for a good pass catching back and as usual only the Patriots are smart enough to exploit this.

Whatever the value this smells alot more like Gase just requested Ajayi be gotten rid of. so FO got what they could...pure speculation based on previous and current events.

I suspect that being traded unceremoniously after his coach ripped him in a press conference, and then going to a team where he is going to be the backup, will be a huge eye-opener for Ajayi.

He'll either get dumped quickly by the Eagles, or his attitude will improve. One or the other. It's just a shame that it couldn't happen here.

fans always over-valuing their own players.
If Ajayi isn’t doing his job and doing what coach Gase expects of him then he’s no good to Miami. Miami doesn’t need players like that. Also wasn’t there an article saying that Ajayi’s knee was becoming an issue again? Even more incentive to get something now before he’s damage goods. I don’t understand the outrage. Geez imagine if they traded Tannehill for a 2nd rd pick? This place would shutdown and people will be mad saying Miami should have gotten two 1sts for him. People really gotta stop overvaluing Miami players. Everyone on this 4-3 team that’s been shutout twice is fair game to be traded.

He is 100% starting over Blount. That's not the same guy who ran for 18 tds last season in NE
