The end of chad henne?

This regime has dwarfed HENNE's development, by keeping him on a leash and wearing diapers. He couldn't "automatic", and although he has a strong arm, they made him play an antiquated offense designed for a noodle-armed QB.

This season, HENNE started to show ABILITY and LEADERSHIP, despite the team's starting RT and RG. And w/any sort of performance resembling a so-called top 5 "D", it's MIAMI who might've been 3-1 or possibly even 4-0. Professional football people notice, even if amateurs do not. HENNE will NOT want to be in a situation where he's going to go back to the bench, not for LUCK or anyone else. And given his treatment here, by the Organization and a lot of less-than-intelligent "Dolfans", I believe that HENNE will leave w/o even listening to anything that MIAMI has to say.

The first two years hindered his development, Henning did zero for his QB. Henne still has the potential to be a good QB, he will never be great and he will never be good in Miami, his time here is over.

Where was Henne's leadership in the Cleveland game, when a "leader" would have won the game? At the same time, where were his "improvements"? He threw for a lot of yards in the Pats game, and really did nothing else of note in any of his other games except suck.

All i ever got the impression of was that the team was trying desperately hard to rally around Henne and support him, just because they knew it was the only chance of them being successful, seeing as nobody else was really here to compete for the job.

I think he may be done too, I have liked henne too. I think the FO just messed this one up and screwed him, but I still think he was coming out of it and would of performed well. he will go to another team and proove that!

It's the end of Chad Henne as we know it,

and I feel fine.

( Sang to the tune of REM's End of the World song)

I was at the San Diego game and saw him go down. Not only do we know he's done....he knows it's over. He'll become a journeyman clipboard holder for some other team. And probably win a ring from the sideline. Oh, almost forgot: he'll come off the sideline in a couple years playing against us and shred us for 500 yards!

I could see him being resigned and traded also, but do think he will be the big man in this and move on himself.

If that happens, I see him doing well in places such as Seattle/Minnesota [if Ponder doesn't get a shot this year] where he'd have a chance to start. Possibly Oakland and Indy.

It's a shame as I thought he was making progress and doing a great job with the situation he was in. Wish him well.

What do you guys think? Will Henne ever throw another pass for the Fins? Im saying the Henne experiment is over.....

no way henne comes back the way he was treated here in miami. hell get a very good offer from another team that will give him a chance to compete for a starting job next year. miami will start over by drafting their quarterback of the future under a new head coach.

That's what I was thinking. He'll end up with one of the other crap teams that doesn't get one of the top 3 QB's in the draft.

There are probably 10 teams he could go to and at least have a shot at starting.

Watch, he'll end up with the Jets.

BOOK IT!

Since his HC and probably (hopefully) his GM will be gone, the new regime will want to hand pick their franchise qb, and they'll have a high draft pick with which to do it. That said, he could be a valuable back-up for that new qb. But my guess is he'll be gone.
islandah is 100% correct on this one. A new coach and likely GM will want their own leader brought in to start fresh with their new offense and frachise building. Even if he was under contract (which he won't be), they'd cut him loose or trade him and start fresh. They'll likely draft a frachise QB (finally) and maybe bring in a vet to mentor and maybe start for a year or so until he's ready. They would never undercut the authority/leadership ability of a new QB by retaining last year's ineffective starter even if the thought was he's just a backup.

He will probably not be back, but anything is possible. Hopefully we draft a QB and sign Carlson Palmer to mentor him. Release Moore and let Devlin and whomever we draft battle it out for the back-up role.

HENNE DID WIN THE CLEVELAND GAME, fool. MIAMI's "top 5" Defense lost it, w/an assist from COLUMBO. MIAMI continues to allow COLUMBO to exist, and its vaunted "top 5" "D" sucks major league ****.

THAT'S IT, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. Deal w/it!! Deal w/COLUMBO, and CAREY out of position; deal w/BELL being washed up; deal w/the BUST known as MISI; deal w/BURNETT being overrated, and possibly also DANSBY; and prepare yourself for the possibility of WAKE being totally negated, because he had/got NO HELP AT ALL. And be prepared to deal w/the world's stupidest FO and Owner until further notice.
