For some reason, I dont think we will see the orange jerseys again during the Saban Era.. Maybe its too gimmicky for him or something. Also notice that the Aqua pants seem to have become extinct as well.. Its too bad, because I liked the White on Aqua look. I think its also safe to say the garish all Aqua unis are out..

I dont know why but i like all white uniforms and the all aqua , i think the solid one color uniforms look better then white and aqua together..and hopefully the reason we didnt wear the orange ones is cuz we didnt have a primetime game...im lookin for em next year..lol:yell:
 
While I think you may be right about the aqua pants, I think it is premature to suggest that the orange jerseys are done for. Nick is pretty powerful, but I don't think he's poweful enough to do away with a lucrative marketing gimmick. Even if the orange jerseys of yesteryear are gone, I am pretty darn sure we'll see some sort of alernate jersey replace them. I certainly hope it isn't the boring navy one, though.
 
I don't know if its over I just don't think he cares for it! Maybe if the owner or someone says we want jersey sales to go up on the orange jerseys he might tell them to wear it.

If we go to NE for week 17 w a chance to make the playoffs I say we wear our orange

I think we should wear something new once a year....I like the Aqua on Aqua vs the bears...

If we get that Thanksgiving Day game next year(and we should) get ready to break out those awesome throwbacks again!

I think they will be saved for prime time games.
 
NO.....the orange Jerseys need to be on display in order to sell them.....so I expect the orange to make a apperance...if Saban likes them or not.

I feel the same way. What better way to play in the possible snow then with bright orange jerseys. And they are inspirational at 2-0.
 
i dont think that Saban can do away with them. i think the orange jerseys are something the players enjoy as well as the fans. but i would love to see us use the throwbacks again, those were awesome and we played a good game in them.
